Ban Fireworks

Fireworks cause distress, injury and deaths. Pets, wildlife and people (eg those with PTSD, anxiety or autism) are affected. Selling explosives? What are we thinking?
Increasing numbers of people (including senior representatives of the emergency services) are calling for at least the restriction on their sale to the general public. Personally I want a total ban.

The UK campaign:
- The Firework Campaign UK

(PS So-called silent fireworks are NOT silent).
They're definitely a problem here, where things are dry, drought is on going, wildfires rage, and we live in a valley so all that smoke and stuff just sticks around (it gets as thick as bad fog here).

As a kid I loved them,at the start of November you would stuff some clothes with straw or newspaper and make a mask of guido aka guy Fawkes and make some pennies “pennies for the guy”,he took over from the pope as the effigy to be burned on the bonfire “remember remember the 5th of November, gunpowder treason and plot”,for Americans you just have to rhyme with January the 6th.

I think sales to the public should be banned but firework displays not but a totall ban wouldn’t be the worst thing that could happen.

I live out in the country. We don't have those problems arise. However if common sense isn't used a person could catch a field or woods on fire.
