Birmingham Muslims pull their kids out of LGBT-inclusive lessons

You are describing UKIP and Britain First rallies - they are Mob Rule.. Why is it ok for them to protest in that way but not ok for Muslims?

Why are Remoaners allowed to show their displeasure of democracy publically and Leavers are not allowed to publically show their displeasure of those that want to destroy democracy?

Absolutely no trouble with protest marches. IT IS YOU who seem to have a problem with such marches dependent on the marcher's religion.
I've not complained about the marches yesterday and Nigel's Leave Means Leave march, laughed at them, yes, but complained, no.

In public schools, religious beliefs should be irrelevant. If they want their kids taught according to their religion only, they can send them to a religious school or homeschool them. Sad that we allow parents to act like they own their kids but there it is.

How about this, religious fundamentalists don't get to warp public school curricula?

Progressives like the idea of getting rid of the Electoral College in favor of the popular vote. The question I have is why not run a test of the Progressive choice, and allow the parents of that school to vote on this? This would be a pilot test of the popular vote. This will allow us to see if there are any pitfalls.

The Electoral College, on the other hand, is more analogous to what the Progressives are proposing in this case. The LGBTQ community, is like a small population state, whose will would be lost in the shuffle, if we used a popular vote system where a few larger states decide for all.

I don’t claim to be leftwing but it seems that I am more concerned about the human rights of LGBT Muslims than you are.

Once again you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
I thought it was you who trumpeted at every opportunity "Free Speech"; this is a real free speech issue. I totally disagree with what they are protesting for but I will defend their right to do so.

So once again, let's clarify - your policy is free speech for all apart for Muslims.

If you recognise it is only a small percentage, you can't then say that Islam has a political agenda, as if all of Islam, ergo all Muslims, have a political agenda.

The Quran and the Hadith have political agendas. And some aspects - like the desire to live under Sharia - are supported by about half the world's Muslims.

Surely criticising the human rights of the LGBT community would be homophobic and a hate crime.

Why would anyone support those that do so?

Being LGBT is not a choice it is a fact. Supporting the Islamic ideology is a choice.

I think you are defending the indefensible.

I am defending free speech. I thought that was one of Adolf von Batten and Stephen Yaxley Lennon's main gripes.

Even though you obviously hate Gerard and Tommy and look for ammunition to throw at them, have you ever heard them say anything derogatory about the LGBT community?

Do you seriously believe that the LGBT community should be forced back into the closet?

You can certainly read political agendas into the Qur'an and Hadith. But lots of Muslims choose not to. And when a Muslim expresses a desire to live under Shariah, that doesn't necessarily mean the full whammy. I'm not sure many Muslims really understand what Shariah would actually entail. But even if we grant that about half the world's Muslims do mean the full whammy, that leaves half who wouldn't want to live under Shariah, which is a pretty big number of Muslims with different ideas about what it means to be a Muslim.

You called it a real free speech issue when you should have been calling it hate speech.

You say that you have absolutely no trouble with protest marches, so does that mean that you believe in street protests against LGBT.

Does a religion have the right to be homophobic in the UK?

Have you no sympathy for the head teacher that was persecuted by the religion that you defend?
