Yes, that should stop too, of course. At least when it actually happens and when the media isn't skewing it and making it something it isn't to stir up ratings and anger.
Actually happens? So police severing this guys back in multiple places from excessive force didn't actually happen and this is just the media spin? Good to know.

Wow.
I haven't seen someone so determined to start a fight on a forum in q while.

Yeah, that happened. But the riots and the looting aren't really about that.
Maybe not directly, but I doubt there'd be any rioting going on in Baltimore right now if police unjustly killing that kid didn't happen. There were/are plenty of people doing peaceful protests.

You know me, starting fights by asking a question. I was going through my little black book of people to pick fights with and Saint Frakenstein's name was the first to pop up.

Have you heard of those flash mobs that have been taking place throughout the country for the past few years? Those are organized by black high school students on sites like Facebook and Twitter. They plan to meet up at a certain time and place and then go and act like hooligans. They destroy property, loot stores and attack white people. They have nothing to do with social injustice at all. There's evidence that a large part of the rioting in Baltimore is due to that sort of stuff and the same sort of stuff you see during the flash mobs you see in the Baltimore riots. To add to that, gangs like the Bloods and the Crips, black racists like the Nation of Islam, political radical groups and such are riling up the crowds and making it worse. They are also attacking non-black owned businesses. There are pictures of black-owned businesses having signs out front to declare themselves as such, so they won't be looted or destroyed.

Ah silly me. Carry on then with the black people bashing.
Bringing up serious issues that need to be discussed isn't "bashing". I'm half-black and I love black people. That's why I'm so concerned about what so many of the youth are doing to themselves. That's what this thread is about.

I'm sure you'll be able to provide substantial evidence for both.

I'm full Caucasian, you point? Lumping an entire race of people with a small number of crappy ones and attributing stereotypes to that same race is indeed bashing. I'm sure you have threads lambasting white and Latino people whenever they riot after a sporting events, since rioting is such an important issue to you.

For what? That violent black flash mobs exist? You can just go to YouTube and search for "black flash mobs" and there's hundreds of videos that come up showing them. It's not usually discussed in the national media, so most sources about it will be local news outlets and blogs.

As for how it ties into the Baltimore riots:

Is it really a small number, when stuff like this has been occurring around the country for the last few years? Some sports fans getting drunk/high and being stupid after games is another problem that's outside the scope of this thread.

And no one said "all black people". The problem lies with a large number of inner city black teenagers.

Instead of trying to dismiss what people like me say as "racism" or "bashing black people", maybe you should actually listen to reports of what's really going on instead of having knee jerk reactions that help nothing and shut down conversation about serious issues. Black culture and the behavior of many black people is not above criticism. Nothing is.

Since you're the one making the claim, I'll allow you to back them up.

In the articles you linked, there is nothing concrete, only rumors. There are also people saying that the whole "purge" thing is bogus.

Yes, it is.

Or you're trying to avoid explaining a possible double standard? Rioting is rioting. It's not a "different problem" because of the races involved.

I'm sorry, after reading the title of your thread and you posts with gems like "The "black community" is the part of town where you see a large number of cars like this: And they're all blaring rap with the subwoofers turned up so loud, it makes your teeth rattle." my responses are anything but knee-jerk. I don't need to listen to what's going on, I'm just reading what you post.

Yes, it is.
No, not when you have dozens, hundreds or thousands of people taking part of just individual cases of it, let alone all of them combined.

If you want to talk about sports fans rioting after games, feel free to start your own thread about that but that's not what this one is about.

They are different topics because this is a cultural problem as well as a political one. When white people start gathering in mobs, robbing, looting and beating people, then there will be a similarity worth discussing.

I'm guessing you can't see how rqcist you sound, right?

Generalization is a bad thing
Yes, I'm "racist" in the same way that people who criticize Israel are a bunch of Jew-haters or people who criticize violent Islam are "Islamophobes". Get a grip. Throwing smear terms around is not going to help the discussion and it doesn't effect me. Do people even know what "racism" means these days? I guess not, with how it's thrown around all willy-nilly. No one said that it's all black people and I've said upfront that black people are not biologically/racially driven to criminal behavior (at least not any more so than all other groups). So the problem isn't that black people are racially inferior. They're not. But we have to admit that there's a problem with black youth culture in America. However, some seem keen on trying to shut down any discussion on that by whining about phantom "racism".

And I still think it's funny that it's only leftist white people coming in here and accusing me of racism, while completely failing to address the issues I'm bringing up in this thread. "Oh, you shut up. We're not supposed to say that." Screw that. Things need to be talked about and the problems in the black community are my problems, too.

There's no "might" about it. It is a rumor, nothing more.

Hundreds out of how many black citizens? Basic statistics makes your argument invalid alone, but please, continue to make blanket statements out of an entire race.

No, actually I think I'll continue to point out your glaring double standard. You can keep finding ways to dance around addressing it if you'd like.

I live in Los Angeles, so I'm quite familiar with "hoods." I can tell you've never been to one though, because no one there would find any humor in your post. But please, don't take my word for it. Go down to your local "hood" and test it out yourself.

I live in the hood and have lived in the inner city most of my life, and I've said all I have to say to you. Neither of our opinions will be changed from this discussion.

I wasn't trying to change your opinion, I was trying to get an explanation for your disingenuous assertions and glaring double standards.

Maybe you sshouldn't generalize. You keep generalizing and you're gonna keep getting called out for your racism.

In the thread you keep claiming to be half black. As ifthat matters. But it does bring a question to my mind. How come you generalize yourself?

I keep mentioning it to clarify because me being mixed does actually put me in a rather unique situation when it comes to racism in America, since I get it from both "sides" and have since I was an infant. Meanwhile there are racist posters on this board who have argued that black people are racially inferior and I've fought with them about it. The people accusing me of "racism" are not understanding what I'm saying or they don't want to understand what I'm saying.
