Definitely.. raw, fried, roasted or bbqed, black is the best
But if its black and roasted, how do you know if you burnt it? And how could you have fried 'green' tomatoes?

I guess mosquitoes here developed a taste for aboriginals over the last 16,000 years, eh.

How the heck did this ridiculous thread turn into a serious discussion about tomatoes?
chutney
Because it can.
That's why I like them.Beware. The black ones are alien seed pods.
What is chutney?
That's why I like them.
My least favorite are the white moldy ones
Ok fine. Just don't lose sight of the "alien seed pod" origins.
An Indian sauce made with fruit or veg (mango chutney is to die for)
That isn't a racial slur btw,That's why I like them.

I'll eat anything once, often more than once.
Hint. Don't eat the white bits.
Or maybe patent patent it as a medicen
That isn't a racial slur btw,
In an age where "cracker" and "mayonnaise", are racial slurs against white people,
White moldy tomatoes could be interpreted as the same!
I'm still only 31.Welcome Pope. What took you so long my "white moldy" friend?
So I was having a conversation with @Sunstone the other day about the tomatoes in my garden. My favorite are the small cherry tomatoes. They are great to snack on. @Sunstone recommended I try some of the black tomatoes. I said, "tomatoes are supposed to be red in my book, besides the tomatoes you are recommending look like some kind of alien seed pods from a movie like "Invasion of the body snatchers". I mean ,I don't want to eat them and then turn into someone I am not. But my friend Sunstone didn't give up and eventually I took his advice, reluctantly believing him that they were not in fact Alien seed pods. I ate some ,and he was right. They are delicious. I don't really feel different, but have noticed some minor changes in my daily routine and political views. For one thing and for no apparent reason, I went and stuck "Yes we can" stickers all over my car bumper. And put out yard signs that read "Hillary 2020". Also I never thought I would ever entertain the thought that clothing optional beaches were something to be considered. And why am I making gift baskets full of these tomatoes and leaving them on peoples doorsteps? Hmmm, doesn't seem to make sense really. Just somehow feels right. Did Sunstone have some nefarious reason behind recommending this odd fruit to me? Nah, couldn't be. Gotta go now, my new favorite program is on MSNBC.

Sorry, I couldn't resist after seeing Wirey make a thread about his sack of salty nuts.I'm still only 31.
I still feel like an old man,
But the mold doesn't start growing on my white sack of cherry tomatoes as long as I wash it with body wash and warm water
Im olive complected btw. I try to get enough sunshine to avoid being white!
But my furrowed sack of tomatoes doesnt get much sunshine!
