I didn't say that. Maybe instead of creating a strawman, why don't you actually read what I wrote.
So tell me, who is gonna be concerned about todays ruling

I think it's appropriate for me to choose not to spend my money with companies that I object to. I find it difficult to reach for my wallet while I'm holding my nose. If Hobby Lobby wanted my money, they would have adopted business practices that weren't completely out of line with my views.
I also avoid shopping at Wal-Mart because of their business practices. Do you also have a problem with that?
Every dollar we spend is, in a small way, a vote for what sort of world we want to live in. I don't want to live in the sort of world that Hobby Lobby envisions, so I'm not going to help them achieve their vision. Apparently, you think I should put my money toward a cause I think is immoral. Why?
How does someone boycott their state government?
If few do indeed boycott Hobby Lobby and thay makes into the news, where do you think all the Christian Fundamentalists and Conservatives are going, Michael's or Hobby Lobby. And belive me there are more Christian Conservatives than Feminists.
And what about the factories those people work at in China, those factories that make the products Hobby Lobby buys and then sells. The people of China who work in factories are exposed to a variety of dangerous working conditions. They are victims of unfair calculations of work time and low wages. Their employers often fail to pay for insurance or pay for injuries that are work related.
I'm still going over the free contraceptives in my head... I can't see why any company is paying for it. Seems like a personal thing you would take care of with your wages
You go right ahead and do that. I'm not forcing you to spend your money wherever. I just don't find the arguments for boycott and calls for bankruptcy to be ethical.
Rather than putting all the blame on Hobby Lobby and boycotting it, lets boycott Supreme Court, who actually made the decision. So how do you boycott Supreme Court? Hmmm, Perhaps by boycotting Roe v. Wade decision.
If you want to get rid of a company whose policies you feel are unethical, what else would you suggest as a reasonable course of action? How would you forward the changes you wish to see in the world?

I don't know. I don't care to boycott companies in the first place. I just shop at whatever store is most convenient. According to my far-leftist Christian ethics, if I were to boycott every company that has practices I find unethical, I wouldn't be to shop much of anywhere at all.
You do what you can, and you don't drive yourself crazy about it. Unfortunately, the best way to vote in this country not on the ballot, is with the dollar bill. It's one of the most powerful tools we have to make change, and I feel we have a responsibility to use that tool carefully. Otherwise, we are the mere prey of advertisers who manipulate our environments for the benefit of their corporations.
I'll confess that I also have a small hatred of capitalism in general, so... yeah. >_>
Meme I saw spring up connected to this: "Welcome to the USA where corporations are people but women aren't"
Same here. Any time a company beats the government in their attempts to exerciseI never have been to Hobby Lobby, but now I have to buy something from Hobby Lobby. Good Job Hobby Lobby and Green Family.
It's fairly common to cover prescriptions but not non-prescription treatments.Btw, why is the ability to not pay for employee's contraceptive's only a women's issue?
Are only women entitled to this bennie?
They should be covered. As St Frank pointed out, it's even worse that trans-gender services aren't covered.
Interesting that you prefer the business over the government, and you prefer the business over the individual employee.Same here. Any time a company beats the government in their attempts to exercise
ever more power over us, I'm inclined check'm out. I never ate at Chick-fil-A until
the PC censors attacked'm.
Btw, why is the ability to not pay for employee's contraceptive's only a women's issue?
