By the way -- if you claim to be a Christian...

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
It is rather clear that there is a huge range in beliefs of people that call themselves Christians. Some believe that Jesus was God, some do not believe that. I think that even the Mormons are considered to be Christians here and I cannot say for sure what their beliefs are.
I've spoken with Mormons. If I thought their religious beliefs held the truth, I'd go with them. But...

Not necessarily. I cannot understand your post. Can you try rewriting it in English this time?
Since you can't understand it I guess it's like learning a new language. So please be explicit about what exactly you do not understand. Some things are harder to learn than others. So what exactly in the post do you not understand, other than the whole thing.

First, I haven't seen or experienced any compelling evidence or personal interactions with the biblical God that unequivocally prove to me that he exists.

I further explained my opinion in my previous post: By the way -- if you claim to be a Christian...

In fact, I haven't seen any compelling evidence or experienced any personal interactions with any gods to unequivocally prove to me that they exist.

I further explained my opinion in my previous post here: Why don’t you believe in God?

Second, I believe the stories about Jesus are either plagiarized pagan myths or embellished stories, as I explained in my previous post: Jesus Failed Right?

Finally, I believe that there are genuine Christians who live up to the Christian beliefs they profess. My husband is one of them.

Read my previous post here: Does The Bible Contain Errors And Contradictions
Thank you for your honesty and frankness! It is refreshing.

I am quite sure that is true. But that does not mean there is no God or Christ or "true" Christians.

I further explained my opinion about why I don't believe in God in my previous post: By the way -- if you claim to be a Christian...

Finally, I believe that there are self-proclaimed Christians who genuinely live up to the Christian beliefs they profess. My husband is one of them.

To be a bit more specific I am very sure that if I was to say @FattyMcArgus is not a Christian, and he claimed to be one, then I would be in big trouble.
OK, again, if I were FattyMcArgus I might have a problem with you saying I'm not a Christian, and I might try to question you as to exactly why you said that.

OK, let me be perfectly clear about this, as I reviewed the post you could not understand. What are Christ's teachings? Or rather, what do you BELIEVE are Christ's teachings? (any answer?)
Oh please, if I do not cover one of your favorite verses you will have a cow and there ae too many to cover them all. The TLDR version is that one should love others more than one loves oneself.

It is rather clear that there is a huge range in beliefs of people that call themselves Christians. Some believe that Jesus was God, some do not believe that.

The truth is that Christianity has many conflicting beliefs that contradict one another, such as conditional salvation vs. unconditional salvation, the proper baptism (sprinkled with water vs. fully immersed), female pastors, and the "end-times" (the rapture, pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, and post-tribulation). It is also worth noting that they disagree on whether salvation is unconditional or not, although they all read the Bible. There are diverse church doctrines and biblical interpretations regarding salvation among Christians, which are defined as Calvinism vs. Arminianism. Some Christians believe that salvation is unconditional, and they will cite a few scriptures they believe support their belief. Some Christians believe that salvation is conditional, and they will cite a few scriptures they believe support their belief. Some Christians believe that baptism or speaking in tongues is essential for salvation, and they will cite a few scriptures they believe support their belief. Questions about how to properly baptize people, whether it is biblical for women to be pastors, and about the alleged end times (pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, post-tribulation, and the imminent rapture) will elicit the same kind of derision among Christians.

Loving your neighbor as yourself, loving your enemies, praying for your enemies, doing good to your enemies, turning the other cheek, going the extra mile, treating others the way you would like to be treated, and being the light and salt of the world are some of the basic teachings of Jesus in the Bible.

Nope not true. You are presuming. Anyway, take care.

1 Corinthians 2:10b-14, "The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit."

This clearly explains why some people (Christians) understand the thoughts of God, while others do not. It is pointless for some people to disagree when they haven't been enlightened by God's Spirit.

I believe God thoroughly knows me and God loves me and just like Jesus had followers when he was on the earth also apostles I believe Jesus is not one person out of three persons all equal to the other said to be one God. Jesus is the Son of God who is one person and who gave him great authority.
