Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
I will get offended at what is offensive. Having my questions ignored and having people turn on me demanding I explain my religious beliefs that have no impact on their ability to answer the questions is something I find offensive. Having someone follow me all over the forum making posts that essentially question my faith are posts I find offensive. There is nothing wrong with being offended by that sort of behavior and I am not alone in recognizing it.

Stop trying to allude that I am weak and easily offended. The response was mild compared to the offense..
I'm certainty not trying to allude that you are weak.

Then why not make a thread called something like "why do people believe in evolution"?

I would have given a constructive reply and am sure others would too
I'm pretty sure that the acceptance of the theory of evolution by most people here has been made clear a number of times. Accepting a rational explanation for the observed based on evidence is pretty much the basis for the acceptance of the theory. It is true for theists and atheists alike. That is the beauty of scientific method is that it is used to eliminate personal bias as much as possible. And this makes something that can be reviewed, learned, discussed and accepted by people of many different views.

I don't think there is any further point here. It's just a poor dead horse now. As I have learned, there is no point in beating it, it is not going anywhere. I think it is best to bury the poor thing and let it go. It may just be me. We'll see.

The strange thing is you have explained your beliefs at least twice recently that I've seen and numerous times over the years that I've been here. For some reason those beliefs seem to offend a handful of Christians.

I don't see it as an interest in how others come to accept the theory of evolution. From what I have seen there isn't really any interest in anything except discrediting it and any that accept it. Especially if the person accepting science is a Christian. That may be the biggest threat of all to deniers and literalists. The only criteria for becoming Christian is the acceptance of Christ as your savior. Memorizing the Bible, demands it be viewed a certain way and accepting any nonsense against reason and science doesn't make one a "true" Christian over other Christians.

I could probably say a lot about it, but I've already said enough. Denial is not just for science apparently.

Lightly seared on the reality grill.
AronRa has a whole series of flood videos on YouTube: Anthropology, Mythology, Archeology, Zoology, Paleontology, Dendrochronology, Meteorology, Disarticulation, and plain old Science. Lots of interesting info.
Thanks for pointing out this guy. Bookmarked for future reference.

But he makes a fundamental mistake in reasoning.
He assumed that God cannot violate physical law.
