What does the word ahginit mean exactly?

It's actually spelt "aginit" (ain't ya got no book lurnin'?) pronounced: "a-GIN-it", accent on the gin, as in "bottle of", which is probably where most of this preachers ideas come from.

My amusement is not relevent no, but it is what it is.

Question: what does represent christianity? Why this issue is an issue to me is because these people are all a part of chritianity until they do something like this.

What makes this man any less christian than any other christian?

What represents Christianity if not its followers, even the bad ones?

Well, I've given numerous examples of how this preacher COULD represent "Christianity" --- if he were a Pope, a bishop, or a cardinal (if Catholic, obviously)... if he were the president of a large Protestant denomination, influential seminary or college, or the founder of a huge Christian organization. In those cases, he would OBVIOUSLY be representative of more than HIMSELF and his little church.

Using this little maggot as exemplary of Christianity or representative of Christianity is more than a little bit intellectually obtuse and lazy.

This feller is just getting more attention than he deserves. Thanks, internet.

Come now i'm sure his little rant provided you with at least some amusement. Based on your response Christianity likes to keep its worldly representation official. Could be a problem if their officials stray down a dark path not sanctioned by "official" sects of Christianity.... like with the whole Catholic church scandals and so forth.

Either way it is rather concerning to see how quickly he's been slammed. I'm sure if his preaching was a little more public-friendly the church would be singing his praises and the whole "thanks be to God for sending you" stuff that goes on.

Absolutely not.

Excuse me? You say you're a Christian, but you don't get your beliefs from the bible? Sorry, that makes no sense nor is true.

Sure you can read the Bible. Can you understand it? Probably not. You can't even properly interpret a YouTube video.

The video is easy to understand. That pastor is simply "interpreting" what he sees fit from the bible to align with his own bigotry.

You are embarrassing yourself.

LOL!

I'm not insulting you. You just don't know how to take a compliment.

Yes, stupidity is a compliment, and I'll tell you why.

Funny how you Christians always seem to resort to personal insults when you have very little else to say.

You've been presuming to associate ME and A WORLD RELIGION with the rantings OF A SINGLE MAN whom YOU DEMONIZE. Try to think about that. You associate me with this DEMON because you are so inept you cannot distinguish ONE MAN from AN ENTIRE GROUP. That, my friend, is stupid.
No, the issue here is that YOU are trying to disassociate yourself from your own brethren for very much the same reasons why there are over 38,000 registered denominations of Christianity. It's called hypocrisy.

Your justification for this stupidity is that this DEMON man claims "Christianity" when "Christianity" does not claim him.
No, the fact is that you simply disagree with his brand of Christianity because it doesn't align with your brand of Christianity. Again, hypocrisy.

Yes, when you're pandering crap, I'll point that out to you. If you're too proud or foolish to change your ways, I could care less.
Personal insults are rather pointless and only reflect a lack of anything to say on your part.

But it is YOU who are insulting ME.
I haven't insulted you at all, I have merely pointed out that you and he are both Christians and the hypocrisy you've provided in "demonizing" your own brethren.

How would you like to be associated with such swine -- especially with the rationale behind it is unjust and pathetically irrational?
I am not a Christian, hence I'm not associated with the pastor. You are.

You're whole line of reasoning here is grossly fallacious.

we're all associated with each other, because we're all part of the human family, and more than that, we're part and parcel of the universe.
how hypocritical of you to think otherwise.

Yes we do, and that sort of imperialism is quite possibly the worst thing that ever happened to Xy. That being said, the idiot speaks for himself and those who follow him. he does not speak for the rest of Xy, or humanity.

Genghis Khan was an animist so does that mean that all animist are associated with Genghis Khan and want to burn down our villages?

Animism has nothing to do with burning down villages, does it?

Whereas, Christianity is inherent in both angellous_evangellous and the pastor, and the contention of both are how they rationalize the bible and their god in regards to homosexuality. Do you understand the difference?

Is it really?

Here's the actual line of reasoning...

angellous_evangellous is criticizing the pastors comments on gays based on her perception of Christianity, the bible and her god. The pastors comments, while extreme, are most certainly based on his perception of the Christianity, the bible and her god.Notice that your line of reasoning is not even remotely the same?

Do you 'know' or believe?
Indeed we are Christine and I for one will not hesitate to suggest that we men should rise up against these bigoted homophobes (which I believe is more common amongst men - much to my shame) and the irrational and socially dysfunctional suggestions made (and actions performed) by their ilk.

They are a disgrace to all Men (being the group to which both he and I belong).

I just wish their religious communities would be as emphatic about it.
