Well, there's no shortage of incompetent judges. I'm not responsible for either (1) stupid people who claim to speak for God and (2) gullible or stupid people who believe it or (3) other stupid people who want to use stupid people who say stupid things to characterize an entire religion or my beliefs.
Ah c'mon. Just a little bit of credit. Pleeease.
So, you don't think your beliefs are any more or less ridiculous than his? In other words, how you view his beliefs is how others may view your beliefs. Essentially, your view of his beliefs winds up being hypocrisy.
Just sayin...
Man it must be fun to be so empty.
*And yes, this is why one must be taught how to think.*
I guess stupidity can be taught, too. I just can't bring myself that low.
And yet, your beliefs are no less ridiculous than his, they come from the very same book, the one he believes to be true.
Really? Which book do you think that my beliefs come from?
We're going to get to the depths of your intellectual responsibility here. The same thoughtlessness that places too much emphasis on this minister causes you to PRESUME to know my beliefs. Get a grip.
I know you don't pretend any claim to intelligence, but this recklessness is abysmal. You're distracted too easily - by a video and now by my "Christianity" of which you are OBVIOUSLY clueless. You haven't even paid any attention to my posts on this thread. Focus.
It's difficult, but I believe in you.
If you're a Christian, then it should be the bible, yes?
Are you saying I'm unable to read the bible?
You can toss out all the personal insults you wish, but it still doesn't change the fact you and he are of the same religion, believe in the same god and the same holy book.

Yeah, you're right. It's just a bunch of singular groups that claim to all rally around the same ideals and goals, but don't.
I'm sure that ideals and goals vary from Christian to Christian, but in main I figure they pretty much revolve around . . . .I don't think you understand that Christianity is an umbrella term. It includes even people like me and we don't all have the same ideals or goals.

Seems as if Christians (and not olny Christians) are quite happy to talk about their religion as a whole until something or someone that reflects poorly upon thei beliefs comes up and they conveniently isolate the problem
Really? Can you give any actual examples of Christians in here talking about Christianity as if it were some sort of unified entity?
Seems as if you preface your sentences with "seems as if" you can get away with making just about any wild generalization you like about just about anybody:
(observe) Seems as if all of the dog owners in here are named Bill.

Something that is highly amusing to me is christians describing what God would want and how God would guide them in particular situations. Example, God would not agree with rape. As that is a rather black and white issue there is no division. As soon as there is division, the party causing the disturbance is isolated and condemned. I would assume that using the same book would result in the same answers, guess i'm wrong.
This is not isolated to Christianity.
Honest question here: why can't people think clearly about this issue?

Your amusement is irrelevant to the issue.
This pastor does not represent "Christianity." Period.
There is simply no way to argue that this pastor represents anything more than his own views, and one or two of his lemmings.
This pastor is not a Christian leader by any stretch of the imagination. He is not a cardinal, a bishop, a Pope, dean of a college, or even a crossing guard for all we know.
This only thing significant about him is the YouTube video. To make a bigger deal out of it than that is OPENLY dishonest.
