this person is trying to back me into a corner. We practice our religion as best we can but the left wants to take it away from us

Don't people realize that such blanket statements are just as harmful to their own cause as they perceive they harm their opponents. I mean if someone is comfortable with that, should someone in turn then say all Christians are like those Christians in history who were murderous?

Personally I've always been a fan of the concept of the Nega Golden Rule. Namely that whatever harm you are willing to perpetuate upon your enemies you accept can be performed upon yourself.

... I faithfully uphold his word.
Make up your mind.
Either you are upholding his world and making disciples for him or you are not allowed to.

You seem to be rather confused.
You are so ignorant,......I dont think you would understand because you are in the flesh and therefore understand not the things of the spirit
Nice dodge.
Care to try again?

I am talking about how you are contradicting yourself.
You make this declaration:
... We are commanded to go out and make disciples of the world. They wont let us do that. ...
Then a post or two later you make this one:
... I faithfully uphold his word.
Like I said:
You seem to be rather confused.

That last question is a trap and I am not falling for it.
It's a very real commandment though.
Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me.

Luke 12:33
Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

how am I not being Christ like?
For starters, telling people they are going to hell and that what they are doing is wrong. And you blew it at the start of this thread by very dramatic and over-exaggerating the negative treatment of Christians in America.
Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Luke 18:10-14
10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee with head unbowed prayed in this fashion: ‘I give you thanks, O God, that I am not like the rest of men- grasping, crooked, adulterous- or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week. I pay tithes on all I possess. 13 The other man, however, kept his distance, not even daring to raise his eyes to heaven. All he did was beat his breast and say, ‘O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.’ 14 Believe me, this man went home from the temple justified but the other did not. For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled while he who humbles himself shall be exalted."
Matthew 6:16

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

And lets not forget Christian persecution of Christians. The saying "Kill them all let God sort em out." has it's origins in the history of Christian on Christian violence after all.

they brought a woman to jesus and said, "master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned, but what do you say?"

jesus said, "let any one among you who is without sin cast the first stone."

an old lady nearby threw a stone and beaned the adulteress with it.

Jesus said, "that's not funny, mother."

bwahahahahaha

Christians in America are mercilessly persecuted. We are like Jews in Nazi Germany. They wont let us pray in the schools, they call us all kinds of names like bible thumper and holy roller and now they want to make gospel preaching a hate crime but our God will get us the victory. We have endured much for the gospel but take heart. Jesus said the world hated him and they will hate us too. The hour of his second coming is at hand and soon we will be with him in heaven. Our God is an awesome God. Amen.

Are you joking or are you serious? The Jews in Nazi Germany were brutally tortured and murdered. I don't find that happening with Christians in America.
