I don't think either one of these are a requirement in Hollywood...
tRump does not fit any of the possible qualifications nor requirements to have a star in Hollywood.

Oh, for pity sake, he was a veritable media gadfly even before the Apprentice. That alone earned him the distinction.tRump does not fit any of the possible qualifications nor requirements to have a star in Hollywood.

Each year an average of 200 nominations are submitted to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame selection committee. Anyone, including fans, can nominate anyone active in the field of entertainment as long as the nominee or his or her management approves the nomination (a letter of agreement from the nominated celebrity or representative must accompany the application). Nominees must have a minimum of five years' experience in the category for which they are nominated and a history of "charitable contributions."[74] Posthumous nominees must have been deceased at least five years. At a meeting each June, the committee selects approximately 20 to 24 celebrities to receive stars on the Walk of Fame. One posthumous award is given each year as well. The nominations of those not selected are rolled over to the following year for reconsideration; those not selected two years in a row are dropped, and must be renominated to receive further consideration. Living recipients must agree to personally attend a presentation ceremony within two years of selection. If the ceremony is not scheduled within two years, a new application must be submitted. A relative of deceased recipients must attend posthumous presentations. Presentation ceremonies are open to the public.[4]

So, he had to have five years' experience in the category for which he was nominated (television), and then selected by the committee.
Our friend @shunyadragon is also forgetting that for many years Trump was a darling of the Democrats, well, sugar daddy, maybe...Again, the star is not granted just on a whim, there are criteria that evidently must be met. We should not let our personal hatreds blind us to facts.
. . . which tRump lacked, unless you consider his qualification as a gadfly that @YmirGF considers a qualification.
Can you imagine what the thread would look like if it had been the case.Would you be OK with conservatives destroying stars for liberals?
Of course heh... I said Trump was very popular in New York in another thread. Oh the denials!!Our friend @shunyadragon is also forgetting that for many years Trump was a darling of the Democrats, well, sugar daddy, maybe...
Don't forget CNN. They will list that as breaking news.I didn’t know Trump had a “star” until I read this thread.
Someone needs to tell MSNBC about this and then they can show the “star” removal live on TV.

There is nothing immoral about destroying or defacing public property in and of itself.
Absurdity finds new meaning. Good to know. Remind me to hide anything valuable, sentimental or otherwise, when you come for dinner. There is nothing immoral about destroying or defacing public property in and of itself.
and prolly enlist a panel of experts on the proper way to deface public property.Don't forget CNN. They will list that as breaking news.
