Firstly Backwards wasn't the term in question it was ''savage'' , secondly, while to me backwards is an old fashioned word with no relevance whatsoever, but I do believe Saudi Arabia is beset by terrible corruption and that the power vacuum in Somalia has and will continue to be a cause of violent upheaval, I wouldn't call the people of either country ''savages''

Surely it is fair to say that a country like Norway is relatively civilized and North Korea is savage? What country did you have in mind when you say value rights, liberty and equality?
