Cops Love To Bully & Assault Civilians

We see it over & over. Cops use any pretext
to beat & arrest people. Doesn't matter if
there's no reasonable suspicion of a crime.
This former cop explains how he was trained,
& why cops escalate matters, intend injury,
& construct a scenario to frame the victim
for a fake crime. Victim has a $75,000
medical bill. Suit is inevitable.

Caution: Physical & verbal abuse of the victim
who is in great pain.
There are many cases of police abuse, but the criminals are still the worse risk to public safety. The Political Left seems to ignore that, since the risk of crime is worse in Democrat run cities. The game is like getting people riled up over rare coyote attacks, while ignoring pit bulls attacks. Why the misdirect?

It reminds me of when there is an airliner crash. A jet airliner crash will get so much media play time, that one gets the impression planes are falling from the sky left and right and something needs to be done. People becomes paranoid to fly, even though it still remains the safest way to travel. The paranoia is induced by the media through repetition.

All you need to do is look at crime statistics in major Democrat run cities like Chicago and compare those to police crimes, for a rational and critical thinking, side by side comparison. One will notice the Left is barking up the wrong tree in terms of assuring public safety. What are they hiding with this misdirect? It is ignorance or incompetence?

There is a a chain of command in any city, that starts with the mayor and chief of police, before we reach the Captains, Lieutenants and finally the rank and file police officers, who are the subject of this topic. The rank and file officers would not be able to do what they do without the blessing of the mayor and police chief. If police violence bothers you, go after the mayor who is in charge and ask him why this is his or her policy. Lefty propaganda starts at the top; trickle down propaganda. The guys at the bottom are the scape goats to cover the top.

Do you think that the latest trend in crime infested Democrat run cites, of removing bail requirement for criminals, will make police act nicer or worse? Think of this logically, say police officer is trying to protect and serve the public, and the criminals he arrests, are put right back on the street. There is no justice for the victims that vow to protect and serve. Will some police try to create justice on their own, or just serve the criminals and ignore the victims?

In Democrat run cities there is no consequence for shoplifting. Yet it is taboo; crime, for business owners to help themselves with defensive measures. The police are told to stand down. The good police officers who want to protect and serve do not wish to protect and serve the criminals. Some take justice in their own hands, while the Left, who created the problem, are angered over police treatment of their pet criminals who they have emboldened.

All you need to do is place Republicans in charge of crime infested and corrupt Democrat cities and the police problem can be solved; from the top down. If you like complaining, keep what you have.

How is this relevant?

The failures of the left don't justify police corruption.

Are you claiming that the threat posed
by corrupt, incompetent, & violent
cops is mere paranoia?

It seems that you enjoy complaining.
Not about cops murdering people,
but about Democrats being soft on
crime. That's a red herring.

Republicans have been among the biggest
supporters of police brutality, & the biggest
opponents of civil liberties. They're no better
than Democrats.
So I don't see the solution as giving that
party control over policing.

The chain of command in any city, in terms of the police, starts at the Mayor. The political Left is placing the focus and blame at bottom of the chain of command; abusive officers, as though they are free lancer who are not part of any chain of command. Police forces are run like the Military, with generals and officers calling the shots. If solders burn down a village they were ordered to do so. If caught, they may have to fall on their swords or be railroaded to protect the brass. In the Russian Collusion Coup no top dog was touched.

If this was politically damaging to the Mayor; the top dog, he would put a stop to it. But since he is not doing that, he must being gaining political points by letting the problem fester. Politicians follow the wind and money. The DNC appears to be pushing the rank and file police brutality narrative, so the bottom of the chain takes all the heat. The mayor is in the middle of a larger chain and is following orders from above him; state and national DNC.

Republicans are more about law and order and a Republican mayor would gain brownie points by solving that problem, not by letting it linger election to election. The plight of the Blacks lingers election to election. Do you want to bet the Democrats will use this as a pretense to riot, again? This is why it is not being resolved; open ended option. They recycle their playbook.

One potential source of problem may be connected to affirmative action. When shallow criteria, such as skin color or sex, mean more than merit, you will not get the best police forces. This tends to be more pronounced in Democrat cities, since they were the ones whoo tried to lead affirmative action, by example.

Jobs like police officers are not for everyone, like government desk job. That job places you in constant stress due to being around bad people each day and required to enforce the law. Color of skin or sex may not be the best litmus test for this stressful and dangerous job.

Say promotion was also based on affirmative action, this can shift the command structure away from the respect of merit, and more into company politics, since power plays can compensate for lack of needed skills, if one is placed in higher positions above their heads. Upper management may be afraid to upset the affirmative cart and be sued.

Say you work in a large family run business. The son of the owner is your boss. He is not there due to his skill as a leader, but because he is family. He may not listen to you, not due to his wisdom, but because he does not like to be corrected. He may use his power to bully you, since he is not there because of merit, but due to affirmative nepotism; protected member of the family regardless of merit.

Picture if we did affirmative nepotism, with professional men's sports like basketball. We want teams to look, more like the demographics of the USA. So we allow so many whites, blacks, hispanics, young, old, handicapped, etc. Merit is not the first criteria, even though this is what is needed for the best teams. What would happen is the game would get boring. The once high paid coaches, will now look, mediocre. The owners will lose money and many will sell off the teams. The league decays to chaos; Democrat run cities.

Inclusion and equity is all well and good, but something merits is needed before shallow surfaces in stressful jobs where life and death are at stake. In some police departments, the physical fitness standards have even lowered to meet the special needs of affirmative action. The Cons and crooks still work out and are more fit. Now more stress is added as more cops get hurt. So payback comes. Between Unions and Affirmation action you can't be fired.

None of that addresses police corruption or acknowledgement it's a national problem. All it does it take off topic criticisms at Dems to promote your interpretation of the Reps.
Get on topic or go to another thread.

say police officer is trying to protect and serve the public
That's not their job,
Will some police try to create justice on their own
That's illegal, and they often "create their own justice" on innocent people.
That job places you in constant stress due to being around bad people each day
That's a lot of people. People on the road or roofs a lot, cutting down trees, farming and groundskeeping, people who serve the public, there's lots of dangerous and potentially deadly jobs, many of them more so than the police.
stressful jobs where life and death are at stake.
I've been there. No one gave me a cookie for it.

Another fun video of a vicious cop beating
& feeling up a woman who was doing
nothing wrong. No cops attempted to
stop him from doing this....there were
no good cops on duty. She was charged.

The good news.
Charges against here were dropped.
But only one of the bad cops was charged.
Taxpayers paid the victim $200,000.

Caution: Very violent & cruel.

Driver on highway brakes because traffic ahead of him brakes.
Cop following driver is enraged by this, stops driver, & threatens
to kill him multiple times.
It took 2 months for his department to figure out that this cop
should be fired. But he can just move to another department.
No prosecution for threats to murder a man because cops are
above the law.
It's a darn shame that murderous thugs get to wear a badge,
& have a license to kill. They're just not held accountable.

Man pulls his truck over because his son ahead
is getting ticketed. Cops tell him to leave.
He starts to leave, & they pull him out of his
truck to taze him 3 dozen times.
The bad cops are fired, but not prosecuted
for assault & torture....which aren't a crime
if done by a cop to a civilian.

At a traffic stop of a high school student, the cop
tazes him for 4 full cycles, nearly killing him from
the resulting convulsion & stopping of his heart.
Then the cop drags him, dropping him face down
on pavement, breaking his teeth, & injuring his
face.
Lo & behold! The court finds this assault to be
unreasonable, & not worthy of immunity.
Judgement for $6,500,000. Cop was sentenced
to prison for only 4 years.

Note: Tazers are often referred to as "non-lethal",
but cops use them to kill many people, usually
by improper use. They really should be called
"less lethal".

Man unknowingly hits a building with his vehicle.
Upon discovering this, he arranges with the building
owner to fix the building. Cops come & arrest the
man for not providing ID. He's not legally required
to ID himself under state law, but they roughly
& illegally arrest him, tearing his rotator cuff.

What happens when you're in a park after houres?
You offer to leave. Cop won't allow it.
What happens?
Cop badly beats you.
3 days in a hospital.
The punishment for the cop...
Administrative leave with pay.

It's particularly to be elderly, & interact with cops.
The don't understand fragility of children, the infirm,
& the elderly.
Cops often break ribs, pull shoulders out of sockets,
paralyze with stun guns, break legs, etc, etc.
It seems that they just hate us, & are out for vengeance.

Unchecked power over the lives of others while walking around with a gun and a license to kill. Not doing anything illegal and they stop you? You have to comply. Take it up in court later if you get it on camera but you have to comply with whatever they say. Otherwise it turns into "resisting" and that is a crime. The number of people who go to jail with that as their only crime is insane. Even if its only 1 person its insane.

Our cops are too soft.
I mean, they went unarmed and in civilian clothes to investigate on drug dealing gone wrong, and one of them was stabbed eleven times.
@Revoltingest

Do American cops always wear uniforms?
Because these two American guys said that they thought the two cops were thugs just because they didn't wear a uniform.
But they were unarmed, while those two boys had a war knife.

Cops at all levels utilize undercover agents. It's bad enough different agencies trip over eachother here and there.
The gas station I used to work at years ago, one @Revoltingest may have been to, it's a hub for drug drop offs from Chicago. Being there, outside and minding your own business doing your job, it is absolutely terrifying when all of a sudden when it there's lights and sirens and screaming and shouting and guns drawn because an undercover drug bust was happening.

I understand.
In fact I don't believe those two guys who said they didn't think they were cops. Also because one of them could speak and understand Italian.

Cop kicks a handcuffed man in the head.
Then punches the victim in the face.
Cop will be charged.
Will he get any jail time for assault?
