Democrats Lose Again.

Well despite out-of-state campaign contributions of over $26 million in the George race to fill the seat of Tom Price the Democrats were handed another defeat, which was also handed to them in South Carolina. I guess the Democrats haven't gotten the word yet......their message(do they have any?) is being rejected.

I'm not sure if they have much of a message anymore. They once had the reputation of being the party of the working man, but they abandoned those principles back in the 1990s.

Yeah, that was one of the reasons that I left the Democratic party. The Dems are now the party of the beggar man, while the Pubs are the party of the business man.

I'm very inclined economically with conservatives. I like making money and holding on to it! So does my family. I'm not ashamed to admit it, either.

However, I value social and environmental issues more than I do economic issues. This includes gender and orientation equality, gun control, environment protection and global warming. GOP doesn't seem to care much on these issues.

Government is more than just protecting businesses, right?

And on this site, the Dems are just muttering about 'Republican media'.
Did I say something inaccurate? GOP media is the reason the country is in the state it's in. 24/7 propaganda, conspiracy theories and disinformation. It takes it's toll.

According to who? GOP media? The policies say the opposite. I'm more interested in middle class policies instead of corporate policies. It also doesn't help that the GOP lies about climate change. I just can't sink that low.

It's inaccurate to believe that such things happen just on one side.

Ok, I'll play. Give me a radio station where I can hear 12 hours of 'libtard' propaganda, conspiracy theories and disinformation on a daily basis?

Never fear. Obama's deep state, government-in-exile, will manipulate the system to get back in power. This is all just part of their complex, dastardly plan to turn America into an Islamic, hippy commune.

In my opinion, this has become a symptom of the political climate all around. Not specifically limited to Democrats.

Yes, although the Democrats have certainly contributed to that climate, and it's not as if they haven't had the opportunity to try to change that political climate.

I assume you forgot about Gabrielle Giffords?

I remember Gabrielle Giffords, although the person who shot her was so mentally ill that he didn't seem to have any real political views, conservative or liberal. They found some incoherent writings related to his views on the currency system, but that's about it. One of his friends described him as "left wing," and his online writings were something about the currency system - which benefits the business community and the right wing, which would put critics of that system (like Loughner) more on the left.

Yeah America is full of losers seeing who won the election and how jaded everyone is about it. I don't see it as GOP winning anything.
Other than the Presidency, the Senate, the House and 30+ state tops slots...
Yep, nothing to see here...

I think you're illustrating the exact problem with the Democrats right here. Too many of them are just like you describe - a fiscal conservative (who likes making money) yet also a social liberal. (There are many Republicans who fit the same profile.) But you can't put the cart before the horse. You have to support better wages, working conditions, and living standards for the working classes - or you might as well forget about getting support on any of the other issues you mentioned.

If the Democrats focused solely on economic issues, they would have been a shoo-in for all these elections. But no, too many of them love making money, while alienating the working classes and then wondering why they can't get support on their pet social issues. The people need higher wages, more affordable housing, affordable healthcare, price controls - whatever it takes to turn this country around and back on its feet again. The Democrats ignore all this in favor of their precious social issues - and this is why they lose.

Government is more than just protecting businesses, right?

Ideally, yes. Protecting people is more important than protecting businesses.
