Did God create these colors and patterns to help the snake survive, or did the snake create them, or did God create this snake just to show the world that there is actually a divine creator that has created all things, many things just for the sake of having something nice to look at,

Did God create this color and pattern, then the snake sought out areas of the world to blend in, or did the snake create this color and pattern to fit into it's environement.

Still orange doesn't seem to be the best camouflage color to work with, brown or green seems more advantageous. I'm sure someone will through the whole color blind theory out there. Men are not color blind, are not snakes in danger of man killing them, as are zebras, fish, etc. These snakes better get their act together and better camouflage themselves. ;)

The snake adapted itself to survive, much like we adapted to be able to handle oxygen 3 billion years ago.

So then why don't humans have different colors of skin, like green or orange, or have stripes and spots on our skin, to better camouflage ourselves from predators, like lions and bears. :D

Its amazing how this particular meme is so pursuasive and all encompassing for you. I get the sense you literally believe this. Sure there are scientists which have dedicated the entirity of their lives to give us real answers but how silly FFH must find them.

So many plausible answers which must be rejected to steadfastly stand by a belief. This is one of my problems with some religious people. They stop searching for answers or just being curious because they believe they already know the answer.

Look at the way we are confronted... First a supermodel... Could this be random chance?!?!?! Well Could it?!?!?!

And now patterns on snakes or an orange snake... wow... not good camoflauge in my opinion and really what else matters? I know, how could you not? I have dedicated seconds of research and minutes of my time and have easily concluded it was the work of god. The reason it takes you atheists so long to figure things out is that you reject the obvious. That god did it. Even the bible says atheists are fools... Why should we treat them as anything else?

On another note look at what man is doing with dna:
Paul Rothemund casts a spell with DNA | Video on TED.com

And FFH, I think you show a lack of reverence for science. You are very reverent of your idea of god and to yourself but you seem to think science is against you. You accept a young earth and reject science which disproves it. Why? You think a supermodel who was photoshopped, painted, pierced and designed by men to appeal to you as the work of god. You think the patterns on snakes are paintings from god.

On one level I say wow... Look at how fascinated he is by nature but on the other hand you can't be fascinated at all. If you were you would have taken time to learn about why things that fascinate you are the way they are. OR atleast why we think they are they way they are. Instead all we get is god is everywhere and god made this and you just know.

Its in conclusion baffling that you would not search things out before posting pictures of things most people have seen before and many have actually studied before as proof of god.

Here is a video on what scientists do. Does it sound evil?

BalanceFX, I read you last post and will look at those links, but when science goes against what I've studied and found to be true, then I lose all respect for them.

Tell me what purposes do these colors serve in their survival, other than identifying their own kind ???

No sneaky camouflage here. Christ (this world's creator) did it to beautify the world. These birds did not create these colors themselves, a divine designer carefully and precisely designed these patterns and colors. God is not a boring god, he creates all kinds of things for all of our senses to enjoy.

Even when I was a god believer I never claimed to know the mind of god. Why are you attempting to apply one explanation given for one picture and one species and possible even one of its kind to all future pictures you post. Why do you think you find these things so beutiful?

I don't want you to accept things because I say or post them. I am rapidly losing interest in even replying to this thread as it almost seems like you are trolling. Honestly I just want you to be curious. To be a skeptic. To explore on your own and find your own answers. If you end up back where you are now thats great but atleast you would have some response to the people that are replying to you instead of just dropping the argument and posting different pictures.

Whether I am God's creature or not I'm imperfect. My opinion anyways. Do with it what you will.

So that wasn't the greatest example, I should've posted something like this untouched photo of Bar Rafaeli (Israeli model) for my opening post.

Bar Rafaeli (Rembember Christ created this, he's not some sort of prude) and he's also created ugliness for his divine purposes, which is to "bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man".

I garner you think every male and woman on this planet would find this girl beutiful and the work of god? Which of course is not the case. I won't expand on that argument.

Where is it stated that anyone that was annointed created a human being?

What bible you read? This isn't in the KJV at least not what I have read. You got verses?
Ephesians 3: 9
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Christ created this world.

LDS scritpture...

D&C 76
23 For we saw him, even on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father—
24 That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
