Right and it should serve as a reminder or as a reference point, if you will, so that we can gain a knowledge of what is beautiful and what is not.

God can and does create ugliness, in order that we might know beauty.

We can also create ugliness in our lives and in those around us, the reverse is also true of course.

That's not exactly the reason I like ugly things. I don't like ugliness because it lets me know what beauty is, I like ugliness for its own worth.

Artistically, I can enjoy anything ugly, dirty, and imperfect. These things seem to affect us the most, and last far longer than beauty.
Beauty is nice to look at, but everything else is more interesting.

FFH do you deliver out of state.
I've been working on my own recipes, maybe I should start an online pizza biz and send you some of my best creations.:D

I made the most awesome pizza today, just perfected my whole wheat pizza dough.

Plain and simple creation today though, onions, olives, chedder and mozzerella cheeses with my own whole wheat dough recipe. Mmmm, just right. Nothing better to eat than this, or how about barbeque sauce with chicken and pinapple, but oh I forgot that would just be shallow of me, there are more important things than food of course. :)

I'm the manager here at franchised pizza chain so I just make my own stuff (experiment) with their equipment when it's slow and I type here on the forum. Today was an extremely slow day.

Couple of items to discuss FFH.

1) Scale down the pictures, on a regular computer screen it takes up the entire page and it obnoxious and annoying to have to get past.

2) Stop hot linking from other sites. Every time you hot link you steal bandwidth from another person (which many are paying for themselves). Plain and simple, the pictures you are copying-and-pasting is stealing.

Understand?

Any comments FFH?

I think Boboli and Pizza Hut have already done these.....

A girl walked into the take out pizza biz where I work today, looking extremely similar and every bit as good as this last pic, no makeup on and just plain clothes, turtle neck and jeans. They do exist outside the pages and the covers of top fasion magazines, especially here in Herriman, Utah. It must be the water, :) or the pizza maybe :)

God's creative powers are on display everywhere you look, for all to observe and scrutinize.

Ahhh, but could you still find her to be beutiful if she were a pagan worshipper or an athiest?

You peceive her outward appearence as the work of God. God could have had nothing to do with it. What if it was satan that made her apeear beutiful to you? You attribute it to God but in reality you are giving Satan the glory......

Just a thought.........

Justifying stealing?

Actually, you can use Photobucket, a easy to use photo-hosting site. It's any easy registration and holds up to 1000 files per account and more if you upgrade.

Really, that's a sad excuse to justify your behavior.

Yeah, was just looking at Boboli's whole wheat pizza online, didn't know Pizza Hut offered whole wheat, most don't because no one wants it.

Whole wheat just plain tastes a whole lot better and is 100 percent better for you and gives you the energy your body badly needs.

Looks like God painted "green smoke," as if it were coming from the Tipi's, on the canvas of the skies, as if to say, hey, it's me doing this.

This and many other things cannot be random, there is a devine creator behind it all who is the ultimate artist/designer/creator/sculptor.

These are supposedly hot gasses spewed from the sun, in what we know as solar flares, which colide with the earth's magnetic field. This is the way I understand it, so for this to be random is just ridiculous to think.

That particular huge pic does not post after a while, check it out now, so they have their bases covered so it doesn't cost them anything for me to post it and the advertisements on the hyperlinks cover the costs so no worries.

Either way hyper linking is still stealing. Stealing is a sin, in fact, one of the commandments is "Thou shalt not steal."

Plain and simple.

Not so plain and not so simple. It covers fair use IF the material is cited and a hyperlink is indeed citation.

FFH, your whole thread is based on a logical fallacy. As I review it, I realized you continually make this assertion: "These things are evidence of God because they cannot be random." This statement assumes that the female beauty, the northern lights, and even the whole wheat pizza you have subjected us to are not the result of any natural law of science, yet you have failed to provide evidence of why it is God who worked these wonders and not the natural laws of science. Of course, I believe that God operates within the bounds of science because they are His laws. I also recognize that Man has had his hand in the things you've posted. Nanda already demonstrated how one becomes a model by posting the Dove video. As for the northern lights, they are fantastic of course, but the photos you've posted have likely been touched up by Man. Of course, that Man can do these things may be further evidence of God as it is He who gives Man their talents. I guess the bottom line for me is this: You're jumping to a conclusion that beauty = came from God when other perfectly logical explanations exist. Also, you use Western models to "prove" your interpretation of God's standards, which I find abhorrent.

Thanks for letting me ramble.

I still have not seen a reply that I like in regards to the question: "if beauty equals God, what does ugly equal?"

You have tried to assert that ugliness is man-made, when this is clearly not the case in many instances. For example, many people can be disfigured from birth, either with tissue scarring, or permanent disabilities, or mis-shapen limbs. Facial scarring can occur through diseases, such as chicken pox, diabetes, and so forth. Is man responsible for this?

Each of the people you have shown on this thread have been remarkably free of blemishes and quite well-proportioned, which could also be considered an insult for those that are too fat, too short, too tall, or any other sort of "too" that you can think of, for this general model.

I thought I had seen an answer with the thorns idea, (which I thought extremely insulting for ugly people), but this has been shied away from, so now I do not have any answer from you at all on this subject.

I am glad that I had not held my breath waiting for an answer, at least.

Rojse,

I mentioned two Rodin statues one Caryatid Crushed Beneath a Stone, the other: Huileaume Who Once Was Beautiful.

Both works express physical "ugliness" or "beauty passed away". They do this by showing the beauty within the bronze rather than on the surface.

Regards,
Scott

I dont think that god did create that. When people have children they get certain genes making them appear to some "ugly" or "beautiful" it is how you look at a person
