Do you think they need a self-awareness as gay people so 9 year old kids can engage in homosexual sex?
Is that what you're getting at?

Because prepubescents are not supposed to have sex.
Wth are you talking about?
Seeing a gay character isn’t the same as watching a porno

Are kids seeing sexual imagery when they witness the princess and the prince kissing at the end of Disney movies?
Something that’s been happening since the 1930s!!
Well?

No. It doesn't have anything to do with having sex. Disney characters don't have sex in any Disney movie I've ever seen.

What I'm getting at are that gay people exist in the world. They are people, like everyone else.
Some kids actually have gay parents. Or know a gay person. Or are a gay person.

The "theme" of a gay couple in a movie is the same "theme" that depicts a heterosexual couple in a movie. If kids can handle heterosexual couples just fine, what makes anyone think that they can't understand or accept a gay couple in the same way they just accept the heterosexual couple?

That's the issue. Romance is more and more rare in Disney movies.
Regardless of the protagonists' sexuality.

And even if heterosexual love is portrayed only, homosexual kids can still learn of love because love is universal.

Disney has couples in practically all its movies. Even in its latest films there are married couples who are constantly showing each other affection.
Is that suddenly scandalous?
If so, why??

You said earlier that you support not telling kids about homosexuality until freaking high school. Or am I mistaken?
Pretending that one sort of relationship is inappropriate. How universal of you
(She said, sarcastically.)
So how are they learning about love if you literally try to shield their eyes from actual love.

Well?

I give you an example.
I have a daughter.
I make her watch The Little Mermaid.
If she falls in love with Ariel, it means she is into girls.

But she will understand love that way.

And they call also learn tolerance and acceptance. And that is the issue. There is a certain segment of the population that is terrified at the prospect that children will learn tolerance and acceptance.

So why is it wrong to show a gay couple to a kid then?

Kids can be bisexuals too. The LGBT spectrum includes the B too.
So she may fall in love with Ariel, and still like boys.

All that matters is that Disney movies teach kids love.

That doesn’t answer my question.
If it’s okay to show kids straight couples because they will learn love regardless. As you say, love is universal.
How exactly do you justify not showing gay couples to kids?
Disney is not showing them having sex. At most they will kiss on screen.
Something that has happened in Disney films starring a heterosexual couple for the last 100 years. Hell they’ve even reused the last kiss footage in multiple movies. Not even kidding.
If that wasn’t inappropriate to show to children. Why would it be inappropriate for children to see that with a gay or even bisexual couple.
Justify this to me. Explain your reasoning. Use logic to back your opinion

Because right now it is looking like it’s some arbitrary rule designed by homophobes. Not justifiable in the least.
But I’m all ears if you can provide an actual sound answer for me

Good question. For instance, our PM Meloni pointed out that homosexuality should not be portrayed in any Disney movie.
Yet, either implicitly or explicitly, it's more and more present.

The reason? Because kids don't understand LGBT themes. They would be misled, especially prepubescents.
How can you side with people who say you are delusional man wearing a dress, would take your kids if you had any, and would have you thrown against the wall?
Amd kids can understand a guy and a girl loving eachother but can't understand two guys loving each other? That's absurd. My sister's best friend whem I was growing up was gay. I wondered why they weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, asked my sister amd she just said some guys like other guys. Nothing shocking, confusing or disturbing or misleading about it.
It was actually the Bible that did confuse me and misleading me, with the Church reinforcing a message a hatred and bigotry. That's what was bad for me, not growing up around a gay.

It was scandalous when showing ankles and elbows was a no, because apparently everyone is responsible for the morality of society's prudes except for the prudes. They apparently suck so much **** at upholding their own morality they have to force us all to comply.

It seems that "woke" is coming to mean "progressive, regarding LGBLT folk".
The far-right uses "woke" for anything it doesn't agree with the way the far left uses "phobic" for anything they don't like. Though the far left seems more often than the right to demand total compliance with their ideology; if you don't agree 150% with every declaration and demand, prepare to be labeled a bigot and be subjected to harassment and relentless cancellation. Free speech applies only if you repeat what's accepted in summa. Though both extremisms don't comprehend their views don't reflect society as a whole, or even the whole of their respective parties.

I see what you mean.
But I can't say who's worse.
