It was scandalous when showing ankles and elbows was a no, because apparently everyone is responsible for the morality of society's prudes except for the prudes. They apparently suck so much **** at upholding their own morality they have to force us all to comply.
I mean, it’s hard to disagree with that lol

They deserve some credit for a few successes.
One is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
What did it do that was so great?
They didn't interfere with Burton's & Elfman's creation.

Sometimes, doing nothing is a great achievement.
They did bungle Miyazaki's Princess Monoke, including thinking it would be a regular fairy tale and family friendly whem tbey decided to dub it and release it outside of Japan. But, fortunately, Miyazaki beat both the Mouse and Weinstein (who was with Miramax, which was owned by Disney then) to get the movie in America as it should be (as in, uncut and still an adult story).
The Miyazaki Couch Gag is also one of my favorites.

I don't know that at all.
Beauty & the Beast was good.
And 101 Dalmatians was great because it spawned this....

It seems that "woke" is coming to mean "progressive, regarding LGBLT folk".
They're using it to describe pro-environment features (energy saving feature on the current Xbox console) and a cauliflower sandwich at a chicken joint.
At this point I think they just use it describe anything they don't like, disapprove of, or they believe is condemned in that Bible of theirs (that they probably haven't read).

Princess Mononoke is a great movie. It has a very strong pro-environmental message, but it's not really that simple. Like the main antagonist also taking in the infirm amd lepers and giving them a job and a life where others respect them and treat them with dignity, as well as having working women and the men can't give them troubles or grief.
It's also very much from Japanese Shinto point of view. Disney thought all this, a movie that was a mega hit in Japan, would be a great fit for their thing and a usual princess fairty tale largely based on just the name, which directly translates to Princess Mononoke. It also can't get a G or PG rating uncut.

Forgot to mention it's Chik Fil A. They debuted that and it confused some enough to question the owners being Christian (Romans 14:2*).
Matches my personal anecdotes of confused Hoosiers who saw me not eating meat with a meal (they thought I went vegetarian).
*For one [who] believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.

Being a trans woman is not an identity and it's not bound to politics. You either are one or you're not. It has nothing to do with your political or social opinions. It's like telling an African-American they're not black if they don't support BLM.
Except in this case Estro supports those who deny we even exist, unless it's to call us mutants, demonically possesaed, sexual predators, amd always mentally ****ed up whatever we were at birth.

Wait. A cauliflower sandwich is woke now?
Lol those folks might collapse if they found out about vegan “meat” now being offered everywhere here
It’s even reached a local meat pie shop near me. Vegan pies. Such a concept might have seemed otherworldly to an Australian. Yet they seem to be popular enough to warrant such a business risk, apparently

Yup. This article even touches how the vegan sausage patty at Crackle Barrel got their panties all bunched up, with probably some dried crusties in there as well.

California such a place could probably thrive. But in Indiana, lots and lots of Hoosiers wouldn't poke it with someone else's 20 foot pole. They're one of top lig eaters in the country, frequently eat meat at every meal, so much so that foregoing it would get confused looks as people would ask me I went vegetarian.

Lol damn. I thought I had too much time on my hands
Like it’s beyond petty, honestly

Truth be told, I would have said the same about Australiastan a few years ago.
Maybe the recent interference with our local supply lines sped up this process. But vegetarianism and vegan diets have gained some popularity. Not sure of the exact stats. All I know is that I’m seeing more and more vegan options everywhere lol

That said, a lot of my local take out is also relatively healthy. All things considered
So

That was a good movie.

That doesn’t answer my question.
If it’s okay to show kids straight couples because they will learn love regardless. As you say, love is universal.
How exactly do you justify not showing gay couples to kids?
Disney is not showing them having sex. At most they will kiss on screen.
Something that has happened in Disney films starring a heterosexual couple for the last 100 years. Hell they’ve even reused the last kiss footage in multiple movies. Not even kidding.
If that wasn’t inappropriate to show to children. Why would it be inappropriate for children to see that with a gay or even bisexual couple.
Justify this to me. Explain your reasoning. Use logic to back your opinion

Because right now it is looking like it’s some arbitrary rule designed by homophobes. Not justifiable in the least.
But I’m all ears if you can provide an actual sound answer for me
You are right,
I am probably too paranoiac, when it deals with children's upbringing.

Because being a parent is not that easy in the 21st century.
It's not an easy task. Hence the decision of so many people to be childless.
That's the fault of the nuclear family. We used to rely so much more on family, and child rearing was traditionally for our species of more than the mother and father. Add in the inequities of Capitalism and yeah it's difficult today to raise a child.

I mean yeah it can seem really scary raising kids. So I can understand being overprotective. We all feel protective of kids but shielding them too much can do more harm than good
You honestly should take a breath and have a bit of faith in the next generation.

Most of my friends have kids actually.
What I’ve learnt from watching them over the years is that kids are pretty sturdy, all things considered. It’s better and more beneficial to introduce foreign concepts to them early. It prepares them for reality a bit better. Otherwise they will be more frightened and that’s not a good thing
And honestly they don’t really have any hang ups unless you specifically teach them.
