You too would do well to read the history of 1967 ...
Your assumption of competence (on the part of the reader) here is unfounded.

What a joke ...Yes, I am aware in all the Israeli wars that the Israelis were attacked first. My point still stands. They're the ones with the state, the Palestinians don't have one and are frequently degraded, and you're trying to justify this by how the Arabs attacked first.
What a joke ...
The rules don't permit it ...Please describe your views on why my views are a joke ...

If it's against the rules, then it's most likely more ad hominem.
very nice anti-semitic garbage.
Go take your hatred somewhere else.
The Origin of the Jews - Part OneThese are terrible expressions of hatred towards Jews that the working class movement must fight. Unfortunately, the defenders of the crimes committed by the Israeli State against the Palestinians are trying to argue that the condemnation of these crimes is the most dangerous expression of anti-Semitism. The aim of these Jewish right wing nationalists is not to fight anti-Semitism, but to justify the oppression of the Palestinians and connect this form of oppression with the imperialist "anti- terrorist" campaign that gives the US government the right to occupy and rob any country it declares to be in support of terror.
For the working class it is important to understand the difference between the ugly anti-Semitism (anti-Jewish) on the one hand and the struggle against imperialism and colonialism including that of the Israeli state on the other. For this reason a short history of the Jews and anti-Semitism, including the role of the Zionist movement, is important.
A very common assumption is that the history of the Jews began in the 18th century B.C. in the Middle Bronze period with the Hebrew nomads who settled in Canaan. According to the Jewish tradition, the father of the Jews was Abraham, who emigrated at that time from the Fertile Crescent, the part of the world where human civilization began less than 10,000 years ago. The Fertile Crescent encompasses the area between the banks of the Nile in Egypt, the Levant (the middle section where Israel/Palestine is located), and the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers. Some six or seven thousand years ago, society evolved from hunting and gathering people who spent their whole day looking for food, to people who were able to domesticate livestock. This meant they could raise animals for food and milk production, their hides, and to plow the land in order to grow crops.
Once this occurred, there was a surplus of food. This was the first form of surplus value, which led to population growth and the division of labour. Society became divided between those that worked, such as craftsmen and warriors, and those who were liberated from work, such as scholars and priests. This in turn led to the growth of cities.
The Fertile Crescent is the result of three great rivers responsible for the fertility, and consequent desirability, of this area. The Nile is the longest river in the world. Without the Nile, Egypt would be a desert. In ancient times, 3% of Egypt was arable land and 97% was desert. The Euphrates and the Tigris Rivers run through what is today basically Iraq and Turkey - what historians have dubbed Mesopotamia, which is Greek for "in the middle of two rivers."
There is some debate whether the first civilization appeared in Egypt or in Mesopotamia (Sumer), but most anthropologists agree that writing originated in the Fertile Crescent.
You just found out? That is the usual way when some one has run out of facts or arguments, and you may as well just ignore that.
Why is this a joke, Jay? Contextually, it is always the responsibility of the side with the power to exercise restraint, because they can do more harm. What a joke ...
It's true for maybe 99% of the arab countries but u have to remember that not all arab countries are the same...if u were a christian or gay arab u could live in Lebanon. U know...Lebanon is not a muslim country, almost half of the population are christian and we get along very well. My best friends are christian and muslims like me go to catholic schools, christians go to muslim schools, and muslims and christians are represented equally in the parliament...(unlike what a lot of people think the civil war that lasted till 1990 was not a christian-muslim war,it had political reasons). If I were a Christian Arab, I'd rather be a Christian Arab in Israel than in any Arab country, with the possible exception of Jordan.
If I were a gay Arab, I wouldn't want to be living in any Mideastern country but Israel.
