2 Cor. 6:
17 “‘Therefore, get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take you in.’” 18 “‘And I will become a father to you, and you will become sons and daughters to me,’ says Jehovah, the Almighty.”

Since Christmas originates as a pagan holiday, then the scriptures do apply.
If we theoretically assume a 'pagan' holiday that is being celebrated, unless literal idol worship can be proven, then there is no unclean thing being worshipped. It just becomes a secular holiday, in the modern sense.

I've been hearing this all over Facebook. Who is worshiping the Christmas tree? It is a decoration, nothing more.
I cannot help but wonder if those claiming tree worship also apply the same "logic" to Mecca or Buddha statues or rosaries or the Bible...

I suppose it is a type of worship. To have high regard is a definition of worship that might fit the tree, the rosery, the Buddha, Mecca. Every one knows certain people worship The Bible.

I think the Christmas tree is not about green tree worship. It is about worshipping beauty because it is so pretty. Unless you do it wrong. Then it means having high regard for Charlie Brown. It does too make sense.

Christine;
God said that anything pagan is unclean. 2 Corinthinians 6:17-18 says:
“‘Therefore, get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take you in.’” 18 “‘And I will become a father to you, and you will become sons and daughters to me,’ says Jehovah, the Almighty.”

Christmas celebrations ALL originate with pagandom, and Jesus was not born in December, but in the beginning of fall. The December 25th holiday is Saturna, a 12 day pagan celebration that was incorporated into Christianity in the 4th century initially. Modern Christmas celebrations are a fabrication of Macy's and Montgomery Ward who added reindeer, presents, decorated tree, lights and so on. Put two and two together.

All of that and you still failed to answer the question in the post you quoted to make the above quoted reply.

There should be an award for that.

And that makes the Christmas tree worshiped how...?

Seems to me you use an awful lot of words to not answer direct questions.
If my pointing that fact out bothers you, perhaps you should give direct answers to direct questions?
Your advice is not needed or wanted, and I was not asked any questions. You should try to be less unfriendly.

And?

You replied with a post that had nothing to do with the post you replied to.

Thus you show your hypocrisy.

You should try to at least pay attention to the posts you reply to.
Now you are making no sense. Anyway, what anyone else does concerns them, not you.

If you believe that you are participating in a pagan celebration, then you are participating in a pagan celebration.

The proof:

"One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living."

so you are merely looking to preach.

Got it.
Among your other talents, you believe you can read minds also. Interesting. You feel it is your duty to regulate any blog that you post on, read minds, feel that you can order people around. Did I miss anything?

now you would like to dictate to others what they think and believe?
Moving up in the world!
