My evidence is within
The problem is that there is nothing to support belief as an explanation for the evidence. It does not eliminate God to stick to the evidence in a scientific discussion for instance. It is just that there is no evidence for God, against God or that shows the actions of God as necessary. Someone else could come up with a different belief to explain things and it would be just as plausible as your belief.
But you're right there's no scientific evidence for it

I have no idea how you can accept 'evidence' from a being that you admit it's impossible to verify actually exists. Nothing about that seems logical to me.
I think I probably told you in the past that since it is impossible to verify an immaterial God, we have to work backwards and verify the Messenger who spoke for God.

I consider it, but it is more of a claim of God than evidence of God. You have to believe it too.
I guess I look at it a bit differently than you do. I am not even a Christian but I consider the Bible to be evidence that God exists.

One reason I believe that is because Baha'u'llah wrote of God that the Bible is:
“His holy Book, His most great testimony amongst His creatures.” The Kitáb-i-Íqán, p. 89

In one sense, subjectively I do, but it is not evidence of such a nature that can be used to demonstrate objectively that God exist. It can be used objectively to show that people believe God exists.

It js my belief we are very limited and overall clueless apes trying to make the best of our situation and make sense of it all. Even things I want to claim support evidence for, I am forced to accept it could just be my.brain being funny.
That is a very profound way of recognizing our plight. Even I must admit that the subjective evidence I use to draw my own conclusions about my personal belief must ever be tempered by the fact that something else might explain them.

What I consider as a personal experience with God might be explained in some other way, but an alternative explanation does not defeat my personal explanation by default. The fact that it exists does not eliminate the possibility of my interpretation of personal experience as being correct. I just cannot consider it objectively demonstrating the existence of God. That is the nature of such things.
