Hell exist below the earth. But maybe limited gratitude is what they want. The first thing they see is their temptation (the hellp).
I live in New Jersey. I know what Hell is since I live here.

I believe that the human spirit is the same thing as the human soul.
The following quote explains what I believe happens to the spirit/soul when the physical body dies.
I believe that when the spirit/soul separates from the body it goes into another realm of existence, what I refer to as the spiritual world.
421. When the body is no longer able to perform the bodily functions in the natural world that correspond to the spirit’s thoughts and affections, which the spirit has from the spiritual world, man is said to die. This takes place when the respiration of the lungs and the beatings of the heart cease. But the man does not die; he is merely separated from the bodily part that was of use to him in the world, while the man himself continues to live. It is said that the man himself continues to live since man is not a man because of his body but because of his spirit, for it is the spirit that thinks in man, and thought with affection is what constitutes man. Evidently, then, the death of man is merely his passing from one world into another. And this is why in the Word in its internal sense “death” signifies resurrection and continuation of life. Heaven and Hell, p. 351
I have to run because I have to work tomorrow. I will leave you with this quote to mull over and maybe we can pick this conversation up tomorrow.Don't forget, Paul is speaking of the resurrection of the dead. He is speaking of those who are dead and who are to be raised from the dead. The dead go into graves and when they are raised from the dead they are raised with spiritual bodies. They don't have to go anywhere to get that spiritual body because they are raised with it.
Hell doesn't need to be real to serve its purpose of getting people to not "sin" against the rules of which ever religion or which ever God. It is the threat of living beyond this life and having to suffer the consequences for having lived an "evil" life. But, where is the line where a person is too evil to go to the good place, the heavenly realm, or to be sent to the bad place? I've heard the stories of having to walk the razors edge or having your good deeds put on a scale and weighed against your bad deeds. Whatever it is, the message to people is to do, mostly, good deeds in this life.
But, what I like about what you said about being "bored". I think that also works as to how selfish people as compared to selfless people feel inside. A life of living for oneself, being greedy, lustful and all those things, as far as I can tell, have never truly satisfied anyone. They still feel empty inside... a kind of hell. Whereas, a person helping others and doing good has an inner feeling of something greater than themselves. But, I think that feeling or inner glow also depends on the persons beliefs of a God. And since those can vary, is that feeling of a connection with a God real? I know it feels good and real. And the emptiness for being a greedy, non-caring person feels real too. But, is it a religion telling us we should feel that way?
I believe that the physical body once dead remains dead and the soul/spirit (which are the same entity) leaves the body and goes to a spiritual realm of existence. As a Christian, death alone is not resurrection. Resurrection has to do with the body. It is uniting the body back with the spirit/soul.
What I've noticed is that many Christian sects disregard the teaching of Moses and the prophets and therefore misunderstand what is said in the N.T.
The N.T. does NOT contradict what Moses taught.
A living soul is what man became after God breathed the spirit of the breath of life into him. And animals are also called living souls. When they die they are dead souls. And the spirit of the breath of life returns to God who gave it.
I do not see any contradiction between the two passages. If this passage above is correct, then the passage quoted in previous post is incorrect.
The short answer to your question is that it does not matter to me, but I believe it matters to God. It matters to God because God is just and it is unjust that everyone would go to Heaven no matter how they lived their lives on this earth. Moreover, everyone does not even desire Heaven. You just assume they do.
This is not about ME. I do not even know if I will ‘get to Heaven’ because I believe that heaven is nearness to God and I do not feel very near. However, it will be God who decides upon my eternal destination, not me.
I judge nobody. Only God can judge anyone.
God will never stop loving anyone, but that does not mean everyone goes to Heaven.
You are correct, only God knows, and that means you do not know.
So how can you say that they deserve to go to Heaven? Maybe they had a choice and they made the wrong choice and for that they are culpable.
Neither do you.
I believe we all have free will and nobody is forced to rape or murder someone. Rape and murder are a choice unless someone is brain damaged or mentally ill.
We do not need omnipotent powers because we all have free will.
If we will always be forced to choose evil at some point how is it that most people have never committed a crime, let alone a serious crime like rape or murder? Society holds people accountable for such crimes so why wouldn’t God hold them accountable?
In this life, the justice system will decide that, and in the afterlife, God will decide, because only God knows who is responsible, given God is All-Knowing.
I have no standards, only God has standards.
I am not judging anyone, only God can judge anyone, because only God knows if they “did the best they can.” You assume you know things you cannot know.
That is exactly what you are saying, that God would give everyone a free pass to do whatever they want.
How naïve are you? Have you ever watched Investigation Discovery or Forensic Files on TV? These are true stories, not fictional. People chose evil for selfish reasons; that is the long and the short of it. They do not ‘hope’ it will lead to more suffering, they hope they will get away with the crime and go scot-free.
Will try to explain it by moving on.I do not know why you said that.
But then that should answer your original question of whether or not everyone gets into heaven. If God does not demand anything from us, then everyone ought to get there.God does not make any demands on us, since worshiping God is a free choice we make. God loves us even if we do not worship Him, so we do not have to earn God’s love.
Furthermore if we are created in his image, then the murderer, the rapist and child molestor is equally made in his image. If that was not in his image, then were does it come from? How is it even possible for a person to murder in the first place? But God created us in His own image, in a complete sense, the way He would love us to be, to give us a chance of becoming all we can be, a reflection is all that is good, because God is good..
Sure he could, even if we run with the idea that God himself can't come here, have no clue why that limitation is there, since he can do anything.God cannot come and live with us on Earth because God is exalted above all that is and remains forever in His own high place. God takes care of us by sending Messengers. God shows His love for us by sending Messengers. God does not demand that we believe in Him or His Messengers or threaten us or punish us if we don’t. Apparently you have a misunderstanding of God from what you believe the Bible says.
But you do believe in Jesus as a messenger and that he was crucified? So if you were God and you saw that his messenger, his greatest hope for helping humanity and give us guidance, is being killed. And for the most part, none really listened to him. God can thank Constantine the great for it getting anywhere. And even that failed, if we are to go with the Bahai faith, because he endorsed Christianity, so God send a messenger, which result in him causing a wrong religion to emerge, which then afterwards leads to yet another wrong one in form of Islam, which then leads to a load of other minor ones later on, like JWs, mormons etc. And finally the real one comes along, not from Jesus really, but from a new messenger in form of Baha'u'llah. Which strangely enough take parts from both Christianity and Islam, which seems very weird, taking into account, that its obvious that Bahais clearly think that they are wrong about so many things.Baha’is do not believe in original sin so we do not believe the cross sacrifice was not to atone for our sins but rather it served as an example we should follow, denying self for other people.
Why would God have hope?God hopes we will behave in a way that is in our best interest and so God sends Messengers hoping we will follow their teachings and become what we have the potential to be, reflecting the attributes of God such as benevolence, compassion, loving, gracious, merciful, just, forgiving, and patient.
Where are the words "spiritual death" found in the Bible? You said the Bible says nothing of 'spiritual death'. I have just showed you that it does and you ignore it and simply say Christians just don't understand.

So when we say a man is dead it means he is alive. I don't think so. I think dead means to be not alive and alive means to not be dead.I have to run because I have to work tomorrow. I will leave you with this quote to mull over and maybe we can pick this conversation up tomorrow.

perhaps you are dealing with a misnomer . there are the heavens where the birds fly ,a area called mid-heaven,and then there is the heavens where the planets and star's are seen . and there is the place called heaven , the place where it is that God is known to be . Elijah could only have traveled into the heaven where the birds fly .it was said there was a wind storm. wind storms happen in mid-heaven.I did not say, it is in the Bible.
Elijah was taken up in heaven.
And assuming he came back, where is it written that he came back?
And assuming he was taken up to heaven and [you say] he is again found at 2 Chronicles 21:12-15
Then Elijah is somebody who went up to heaven and came back again.
Enoch was taken up - you are silent about Enoch
Enoch was taken up and never came back
Elijah was taken up and never came back
The Lord Jesus Christ was taken up and will come back
So what Jesus said really makes the difference
Let's have a look at the verses you claim speak of "spiritual death".
Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
Paul is speaking there about the man who has been made alive (quickened) though Christ. As opposed to the man who was not. The man who was not is said to be dead in trespasses and sins. And unless that man is made alive through Christ he remains a child of wrath. And remains under the death penalty which Adam has brought to all man.
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Paul is saying the same thing there. Unless a man is forgiven his sins he remains a dead man. he will die the death of Adam and return to dust.
Mat 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
Jesus calls them dead in the same way Paul does. They have not been made alive by having their sins forgiven. They are walking under the death sentence laid down to Adam.
Luk 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Again, it's the same idea. The son was living in trespasses and sin and anyone who does such is dead under the death sentence of Adam.
The verses you posted say NOTHING about "spiritual death". Everyone born into this world is under a death sentence brought about by Adam's sin.
Even today, when a man is given the death penalty he is referred to as dead. A nd when he walks to the death chamber he is called a "dead man walking"
This question is for believers and nonbelievers.
If God exists/existed would God welcome everyone into heaven as soon as they died, regardless of the kind of life they had lived on earth? For example, would God welcome a mass murderer into heaven and treat him the same way as a person who had lived a noble life serving others and worshiping God?
If you think God would welcome everyone into heaven, why would God do that?
If you think God would not welcome everyone into heaven why wouldn’t God do that?
Baha'u'llah says something along those same lines:Although I am no longer a Muslim, Qur'an says something like this:
"Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge?" --- The Holy Qur'an 68:35-26
Thanks for posting, but salvation is not from genuflecting, but, as the Bible explains, from simple trust in Jesus Christ!Save from what, you asked?
Let the Bible answer because this is our basis of faith.
2 Peter 3:7-12 New International Version (NIV)
By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.
I believe people need saving from the wrath of God which will definitely come
Those who are dead can do nothing at least they won't witness this when it happens
Those who are dead are asleep, not even aware that today 4 Billion people are on lockdown or what the heck COVID 19 is about - that includes my brother and mother, my two grandfathers and two grandmothers, my aunts and uncles - they are lucky they are unaware because they are dead.
But there will be a day of reckoning - and that is the Day of Judgement.
It would be a sad and gloomy day for a lot of people and a joyful day for some who followed and loved the truth.
So who would be the majority of the unlucky ones?
Again from the Bible....
Revelation 14:9-10 New International Version (NIV)
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
Does this ring a bell???
It means that the body has died but the man himself continues to live.If we say the body has died does that also mean that the body is still alive?
I'm not changing anything. What I'm telling you is the Bible NOWHERE speaks of anyone as being "spiritually dead". But it does speak of being dead and death. And the death it speaks of is the death that Adam's sin has caused for everyone like him. "In Adam all die" it says.Concerning (Eph. 2:1-5) look who is changing the Scripture. You. It doesn't say the man was under the death penalty. It says he was dead and is now alive. You can't be 'made alive' if you were already alive.
Concerning (Col. 2:13), yes the same thing is being said as in (Eph. 2:1-5). Just not what you say. The man is physically alive but spiritually dead.
Concerning (Matt. 8:22), yes Jesus calls them dead the same way Paul does. Spiritually dead. 'Let the dead bury the dead.' Physically alive but spiritually dead.
Concerning (Luke 15:24) Same as above.
Nothing in the verses given say anything about everyone being under a death sentence. It says they are dead. You can twist the Scripture however you like. But it is plain that that is what you are doing.
Man is body, soul, and spirit. Physical death is separation of the body from the spirit/soul. Spiritual death is separation of the spirit from God.
