Why?I'd still rather have him than Hilary.
How did Hillary convince you that Trump is qualified to be President? One word: Hilary
His words have caused far more division in this country than any other modern President. And, he's only been in for 200 days.Well to tell you the truth I would have preferred Ross Perot, but since my only real choices were Hillary and Trump there was no choice other than the present President. So, as long as he doesn't get us involved in a nation building conflict and improves the economy I could care less what he says.
Actions speak louder than words.
We aren't talking about when Trump is simply mistaken about stuff. We are talking about when he says things that are obviously not true in order to deceive the American people. He does it every day.Objection.
Defining lie as simply being wrong makes everyone a, how do you put it "compulsive, blatant and unrepentant liar",
Thus the rest of your post is a rambling.
By "best", I'm referring to what the Big Two came up with.He was not the best candidate. Not even close. He just won over a lot of ignorant voters who fell for his dishonesty. He did run a successful campaign, but that in no way means he was a better candidate..

It's important to know the difference between opinion & fact.Hillary was still the better of both options.
It's important to know the difference between opinion & fact.
To say one is better than the other is opinion (based upon our personal values & assessments).
You have yours. I have mine.
The worst mistake is thinking one's opinions are factual. To be honest, evaluation of both parties can change opinion to fact. How Trump conducted himself before the win was announced and how he has conducted himself since proves beyond a doubt that he was the worst choice.

Certainty is the mind killer because it blinds one to alternative views.
Is it also mindless to presume that her presidency would be allThe only alternate view would be to have witnessed Hillary as president, yet mindless individuals ensured that did not happen.
Is it also mindless to presume that her presidency would be all
hunky dory, given her penchant for war, corruption, & ineptitude?
I continue to advise ditching certainty for a broad view of competing
perspectives.
It's interesting to me -- as a Canadian -- how much hatred I see for Hillary Clinton. And how much that she cannot be forgiven for which is oftentimes a lot less egregious than what others have done. In this thread, in particular, as I review what I know of Clinton and Trump (not as much as I should) she has always been more honest, more thoughtful, less divisive.Well to tell you the truth I would have preferred Ross Perot, but since my only real choices were Hillary and Trump there was no choice other than the present President. So, as long as he doesn't get us involved in a nation building conflict and improves the economy I could care less what he says.

I only offer my own opinions. Is her penchant for war, corruption, and ineptitude a certain fact or is that a Republican opinion?
I only offer my own opinions.
And can't speak for a party I've never belonged to, & rarely ever voted for.
You're severely misunderstanding something to make such a request. Please, in the future, refrain from misleading others in debate.
You're severely misunderstanding something to make such a request.
Explain, or sin no more.
That's not quite accurate. You provided the opinion that Hillary was not a viable choice.
The OP was.We aren't talking about when Trump is simply mistaken about stuff. We are talking about when he says things that are obviously not true in order to deceive the American people. He does it every day.
