After North Korea triumph Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, not Obama

FOXNEWS

At the conclusion of the day-long summit between North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in Friday, one thing was clear: the meeting would never have taken place if not for President Trump. And for this achievement, President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

It’s true that we won’t really know for weeks or months whether the North-South Korean summit will bring about better relations between the two Koreas and result in Kim getting rid of his small arsenal of nuclear weapons.

We shouldn’t naively believe any promises Kim makes without verifiable proof, because he has a history of lying. His promises may last as long as a snowman in August.

But President Trump’s tough stance against a nuclear North Korea and his success in winning approval of international economic sanctions against the North at the United Nations that have crippled the country’s economy clearly succeeded beyond expectations in pushing Kim to the negotiating table.

And President Trump’s willingness to hold an unprecedented summit with Kim in coming weeks gave the dictator the incentive to recently announce he was halting nuclear weapons testing, closing an underground test site, and ending tests of long-range missiles.

In 2009, President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for… um … for ... well, for giving good speeches and having big plans for making the world a more peaceful place.

CNN

(CNN)Any way you cut it, President Donald Trump is entitled to significant credit for Friday's historic opening between the two Koreas.

Whether he deserves as much as he's claiming or whether he's wise to bullishly declare a new era of denuclearized peace on the peninsula seems much more doubtful.

Still, the summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in keeps alive the possibility of a legacy win for Trump that would rank as one of the top presidential achievements since World War II.

You do know a mountain collapsed on their main testing facility? That major road block would have happened regardless of who is president here, and ending testing doesn't mean they are giving up what they already have.

Whether you like him or not (for whatever reason), if President Trump pulls this off, he deserves it. It would be nice to have a President win the Nobel peace prize for actually accomplishing something.

If the Nobel Peace Prize committee can live with themselves...why not?

Yes, quite serious. Please note:

It sounds like Trump already bungled this,

Threatened is much different than "already bungled" as is "I will destory all nuke facilities" is much different than actually doing it.

Keeping pressure just might be the right thing. If it isn't, then the dictator wasn't serious in the first place.

CNN Report: Evil Trump Kidnaps Three People From North Korean Paradise

North Korea is reported to be a paradise by cnn report.
Curious I can't find that article anywhere else, including CNN. I did find these, however:
President Donald Trump greets three Americans freed by North Korea - CNNPolitics
And if you notice, your source uses a picture from the video of the real CNN article. It just doesn't mention "evil Trump" or "Korean Paradise." Probably because Babylon Bee is a satire site. Need proof if it's more like the Onion than BBC? Check this out:

Well you know Liberals, they are only tolerant with their own kind and those they sympathize with. The ensuing crying and whining predictably will manifest as multiple and frequent posted threads, daily lambasting such a thing as being intolerable and unacceptable.

Count on it.

I think he has a long way to go to surpass Bush, freeing 10s of millions from dictatorship in Iraq & Afghanistan, but it's definitely an incredible start.

As for Nobel prize awards, I'd think they would both be far more satisfied with their actual accomplishments?

Pretty funny/sad how people crying "fake news" can't even differentiate satirical pieces from legitimate articles.
