I dont agree with that attitude..

Anyone who bears witness to One God and Muhammad as his messenger is a Muslim in my eyes..How God views them is beyond my ability to contemplate and I wont risk claiming something on his behalf, I wouldn't wish death on anyone, let alone a Muslim..

The trouble with traditions from both sides is that they are verbally passed down..The Sunnis passed down pro Sunni hadith and the Shias passed down pro Shia Hadith..Both sides are heavily biased..but the Sunni doctrine bar a few questionable hadith is the purer, simpler version of Islam IMO.

The biggest sign for me is that if God wanted a Kingdom from the Ahlul Bayt..the Prophet would have had a male heir..Allah is the All Powerful that would not be hard for him.

Have you been to Saudi Arabia? 99% of them are Salafi. Their RELIGION is not based on Quran. They don't even understand Quran. There are no translations that I know of into modern Arabic. Their religion is not even based on Hadith. They pick and choose Hadith to their liking (And as you know, I'm not a fan of any hadith). Their religion is 100% based on BLINDLY FOLLOWING THEIR SCHOLARS! And their scholars are extremist, blood thirsty, oppressive, power hungry animals. Ignorant and ready to give Fatwas endorsing murder and oppression of all kinds. I have been to Saudi Arabia 7 times. I've spent a lot of time there. There are good people there but they are in the minority. Why? Because their religion is flawed, illogical, extreme and supports violence against anyone who doesn't worship their Sheikhs. Their culture and laws are extreme and unnatural, leading to moral deviance. It's just a mess and the majority of terrorism and violence can directly be attributed to the culture and religious beliefs of Saudi Arabia (which is now spreading throughout the Muslim world). I might sound angry. But I'm not. I'm just stating facts. Let's not sugar coat things and defend villains. It is what it is!

Bro I spent 6 years growing up there..It seemed pretty chill, We had parties and what not.. Yes they follow a strict version of Islam and yes they might be wrong in their ways.. I am sorry but you are misinformed about the whole Sunni Shia thing..We had two Shia mosques in Dhahran region and a significant population is Shia.
