End Times?

Mr. Beebe

Active Member
In 2016, Mr. Beebe stated that the end times are coming soon. Not that the end times are coming in 2016, but that statement was made by you in 2016.

No,, we are in the end times. I simply recommended a book that describes some of the the events that are soon to come. That is when outhouse decided to be tipped over and all his bs poured out into the forum.

Satan used Mr. Outhouse in a way that would take all attention away from the book that lists the events that are soon to come in these last days: "The Great Controversy by Ellen G. White.

Mr Outhouse is not the sharpest tool in the drawer. He has made several comments,, and so far I have passed on the opportunity of feeding him his foot, seeins how it seems to always be in his mouth anyways.

The Bible claims we are in the "last days". Mr Outhouse is no Bible scholar,, so,, when it comes to the Bible and scriptural things,,Mr outhouse is full of,,,,well, you know.

If you choose to side with Mr outhouse,, I will stack your name with his. I have no problem with sorting tares and dismissing them. These religious sites are a dime a dozen,, and they all have an Atheist that hates Christians and seeks to mock them at every turn.

You can read all of his posts and see that this guy has a hate streak for Christians. And even if you can't.. matters not to me.. I see it,, and I see real good.

There is much talk today on the subject of end times, especially among Christians and Muslims. With this in mind I would like to invite my friends on this forum, whether they be Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or whatever faith or tradition you follow to share with us your views on this subject.

The notion that the world is going to end strikes me as absurd. Even if, unlikely as it might be, humanity were to go extinct, the world -- or all life -- is highly unlikely to come to an end. However, I think it is far more possible that humanity is on the cusp of a new age of difficulties brought about by our own activities and through no supernatural plan or intervention.

Oh, you mean we humans may have no one to blame but ourselves for the vast majority of the worlds problems? Well sir you are....right.

Some of the more extreme ideas in the environmental movement do resemble "End times" theology. Whilst there are environmental problems, and they do threaten our security on this planet, they are often too sensationalised, emotionally charged and grossly over simplified to be worthy of discussion. The group of people who share beliefs that peak oil will lead to a mass die off as agricultural supplies will fail (due to lack of fertilizers and pesticides), are known as "doomers". its a name that serves them well honestly.

The Mayans do not speak of End Times, instead they speak of the end of an era and the beginning of a new era. I tend to agree with them

Typically those who speak of the "end times" believe in linear time.. The Hindu perspective is that time is circular with an iron age, Kali yuga, being superceded by a golden age, Sat yuga. And even further Hindus have larger and larger cycles culminating in the life of Brahma
  • 1000 Mahā-Yugas = 1 Kalpa = 1 day (day only) of Brahma
(2 Kalpas constitute a day and night of Brahma, 8.64 billion human years)
  • 30 days of Brahma = 1 month of Brahma (259.2 billion human years)
  • 12 months of Brahma = 1 year of Brahma (3.1104 trillion human years)
  • 50 years of Brahma = 1 Parārdha
  • 2 parardhas = 100 years of Brahma = 1 Para = 1 Mahā-Kalpa (the lifespan of Brahma)(311.04 trillion human years)
In some people's view we are just now entering the 51st year of Brahma's life.
Jews have larger and larger cycles culminating in the end of this stage of the creation.
7 days of the week = 7 weeks of the Sabbatical = 7 Sabbaticals of the Jubilee = 7 1000 years to the world = 7 worlds to the universe

You know, the more I learn here about your religion the more interested in it I become. Very fascinating.

End times... I always had a feeling that people who keep that subject in a favorite folder made of that "crying wolf" worn out topic.
BTW, it's obvious that we are destroying Earth rapidly and standing on a very thin ice. I've never seen changes in global politics and economy to do something seriously beside being "concerned and willing to help or donate some leftovers" in order to improve there's image.
World's elite is well prepared for upcoming events.

Tomorrow I will provide you with proof that the world didn't end today.

This world will not end until the Mark of the Beast is enforced. The door of Probation is still open. Once the Sunday law is enforced,, then the door of Probation will slam shut, and the Plagues will fall,, and Jesus will Appear in the Clouds.

So, the world will not end tomorrow either.

That's interesting to me for a couple of reasons. One is that my liberal Jewish education did not cover this so it's a chance to fill in a bit of my background. Second, the use of the number 7 is also important in other traditions albeit used in different ways.
