Europe wants peace

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
You know what, Ukraine is a border country. It borders Russia, and parts of it have been Russian for decades or longer (especially the eastern parts). It's going to be a hot mess. I don't see any indication from Russia that they intend to invade Poland - does anyone else here?

None of what you say is written in Hillary's emails or elsewhere, but the fact that you are this deep into these conspiracy theories does explain a lot.
You haven't read them.
And you will not read them as a self-defense mechanism, because your mind would be incapable of bearing the atrocious truth.
That is, that the party you side with is driven by people behind the scenes who destroy nations out of money-hunger.

I am a Christian (and you're probably an atheist) so...I believe in a Just God that will sever the wicked from among the just.

This is incredibly offensive.
No...the reason why we are peaceful is because we have evolved from the warlike stage.
Germany and Italy? Evolved away from a warlike stage?
That's complete fantasy nonsense. They lost. If that offends you you need to reassess your priorities.

We don't have the winner/loser complex.
We have brand new constitutions which clearly state that the goal of the international order is to ensure peace and peaceful coexistence among the nations of the world.

What does any of that matter? Ukraine is a sovereign country. It doesn't matter where it is or what it used to be. It's a hot mess because Russia is invading them. Whether or not you think Russia intends to invade Poland is irrelevant.

It's not irrelevant to me or many others, that's just your opinion. It's been a hot mess for many, many years, even decades by the way, before Russia invaded them.

Good grief, what do you know about Ukraine, or THE Ukraine as it was called not that long ago. Oh and KI-EV was with two syllables. Ki ev. Not Kiev as it's called now, with one syllable.

The request was pretty vague. But as far as racism in Ukraine goes, here's a start:

There is a whole lot more.
I mean, your comment was vague. Every country has racists.

As I pointed out before, they're not special in this regard. From your link:

"Valeriy Govgalenko argues that racism and ethnic discrimination has arguably been a largely fringe issue in the past, but has had a climb in social influence due to ultra-nationalist parties gaining attention in recent years.[4] There have been recorded incidents of violence where the victim's race is widely thought to have played a role, these incidents receive extensive media coverage and are usually condemned by all mainstream political forces."

Sound a whole lot like America and a lot of other countries right now. The far-right and its racism is on the rise. Trump might be president again, and then America will have a far-right president who traffics in racism and bigotry.

You haven't read them either. You've read about them from sources pushing propaganda. They do not say what you want them to say. You're talking about conspiracy theories, not things that actually exist.

Keep lapping up that Kool Aid.

It depends on who the invader is.
If the invader is the tsar, I would be honored to be invaded by such a great defender of Christianity. :)
You are honored if a tsar invades your neighbor? Instead of helping your neighbor, you want to celebrate? How very Christian of you!

Sorry, I'm not into antisemitic conspiracy theories pushed by right-wing propagandists. I prefer reality. That's the place where Russia and Putin are very much in the wrong, and while the U.S. isn't always in the right, they are in this case. Also, there is no "elite of warmongers" controlling the White House. If there were, they would be supporting Putin, instead of supporting the country being invaded.

I think she has outed herself:
"Poe’s Law is named after Nathan Poe, an agnostic user on the message board Christian Forums who posted in 2005: “POES LAW: Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is uttrerly [sic] impossible to parody a Creationist in such a way that someone wont mistake for the genuine article.” In a thread debating creationism, Poe wrote this in response to a comment: “Good thing you included the winky. Otherwise people might think you are serious.”"

Every country has fringe elements of every political stripe. I'm not talking about fringe elements.

Sorry, don't know anything about Poe or this argument. Nor am I a Creationist or far right winger. I am probably more conservative than many people on this board, but I am not a conservative across the board. Actually on many websites, I come up as more liberal than conservative. Oh well.

I have read them and they are owned by many European leaders.
Our PM has won the elections, by exposing Hillary and her atrocious policies.

It should be irrelevant to everyone. Whether or not what Russia is doing now is wrong doesn't depend on whether they intend to do more.
It's been a hot mess for many, many years, even decades by the way, before Russia invaded them.
No, it hasn't. They've been a normal country. The only messy parts are Russia trying to exert control over them, which then produced this invasion.

I'm not sure why you think it matters that it was referred to as "The Ukraine" previously. It's not and hasn't been since 1991. Or what the proper pronunciation of Kiev is. IS there some reason you think this has anything to do with anything?

If they are conspiracy theories, I demand that you stop persecuting Julian Assange- Now.

But the fact that you guys are persecuting him shows he is right and you are wrong.

*Facepalm* I'm sorry; you're the one repeating every right-wing talking point there is on the subject. I'm only explaining that the narrative you've been fed doesn't make sense. Yes, the far-right is rising in Ukraine. It's also rising in America and a lot of other places, as evidenced by the recent EU elections. If Trump is elected again, America will have a far-right president, part of whose appeal is racism.

If you refuse to acknowledge that reality, it's you who is "drinking the Kool-Aid".
