It will be built upon by the existing work. It already has rudimentary forms of intelligence. There isn't a leap in anything beyond building on the complexity.

No it doesn't have any intelligence but only programmed by human minds, Humans are intelligent and not the robots.

And why does it stop beating when its cut out of the chest? It doesn't continue to beat forever. It has automatic impulses but the connection to the brain is vital to its functionality.

The brain has nothing to do with pumping but can affect the rate, similar thing if the heart failed then the brain will die.

why ask irrelevant questions that seem to tie into some sort of meaning yet never do?

And we can. Its just illegal in most parts of the world for ethical reasons.

What is the purpose of a useless robot? Will it change the world? Building a robot is not a feat, its a waste of time and resources with no purpose, and a human being cannot be built outside of a womb.

Robots have in fact been hugely useful in testing new technologies, in space exploration, in manufacturing, in undersea research, in mining, in agriculture.

But if somebody were to take out my brain, and throw it away, and replace it with another brain, it would not be me. The brain is irreplaceable.

You'll be the same person but with different brain, like driving Fiat then moving to Toyota.

Human intelligence is very similar to programmed intelligence in many functions.

The rate is all that it does. But I also liked the point earlier that the heart is also not a human being.

Robots have all kinds of purposes. You rely on them every day without even knowing it. Though robots are really not the goal here. It is computer systems in general that have higher AI that will allow for more complex and useful interactions. It can make the word a better place.

And yes a human can. We can grow test tube babies all we want. We can gene splice. We could, with enough time and resources, create something purely out of created genes. It would take a ridiculous amount of time and longer still to get something functioning. But it is within the realm of possibility.

Absolutely, but the robot in discussion is useless.
We have enough semi-conscious being's in the world, why add robots?

Personally, I really don't rely on robots. I utilize robotics because I can, and they are convenient, but I don't need them or rely upon them. I'd be content with or without anything. There are greater problems in the world, and it's not about me, others are much less fortunate than for me to be mentally conditioned by things that don't matter.

I understand what you mean though.

Hopefully you do. Do you drive a car? Those were mostly made by robots if they have been built in the last few years. And computers in general run our lives.

I do drive an older car, but that's irrelevant. Computers and technology are a good thing, when utilized properly. Humans should be running computers and technology, not technology and computers running us. How many times do we, ourselves, or see others get frantic over losing our cell phones or something so silly? People have nothing and starve and we take for granted all the things we do have. We are being so conditioned to the point where if things crumbled, we'd be a hot mess over stupid things, and wouldn't be able to think straight.

Can you take over somebody else's body and still have your own personality and retain the same memories that were encoded into your old brain? Do you believe in reincarnation then?

This gets weirder and weirder.
Well, FearGod whos religion is Islam says that "You'll be the same person but with different brain, like driving Fiat then moving to Toyota." Of course driving Fiat then moving to a new Toyota if the Fiat breaks down would be reincarnation. But Kirran who is Hindu says "All evidence indicates it wouldn't be the same person." Just a bit confusing.

I asked what your evidences and real cases that the person with a transplanted heart becomes a different person.

Sure, it's a machine. Doesn't mean it isn't more efficient and more complex than many lifeforms.

Not complex, it's logic circuits and connections which can't be done without plan and design by human's minds whereas our brains were evolved by the inanimate nature without any prior plans or design.

I still don't think anybody has answered why God would create bone marrow cancer in children.

And why not all children created with bone marrow cancer and why disasters don't occur every day
and why there aren't drought every where.

The driver will have the same personality but the memory which was stored in his brain will be lost.
