Also, the question arises, was this a mindless process or was there conscious thought behind it?
I'd like to think there was conscious thought behind, but I'm not so sure from what I see around me :help:

It is most interesting, and revealing, that you do not name a single one...
they are all three the same thing. What does wishful thinking and creation have to do with ID?
they are all three the same thing.
Please see the Dover Trial...
I agree, Then should we give up on the possibility of a intelligent creator just because we deem others as being crackpots?
The concept of god and the theory of evolution are not mutually exclusive. Biblical literalism doesn't hold a monopoly over god.
Well I'd say thats only true as long as the bible is involved.
And the second part is somewhat true.
Elaborate.
Well first of all, the bible itself does not hold a monopoly over God, which I must also add is not mutually exclusive with the concept of evolution.
where did you get that idea?So wishful thinking is all subject to the pursuer then?
Natural selection adds information, it doesn't take it away.
Please tell me how we got from the very first life form to humans through natural selection.
try reading a book. And I don't mean the Bible. Please tell me how we got from the very first life form to humans through natural selection.
Here's a few:Please forgive my ignorance, but which species?
ATTENTION! The goalpost wii be moved in 3...2...1...Here's a few:
Observed Instances of Speciation
When it comes to hybrid speciation, it's quite common in plants. We have managed to create new species ourselves, and even breed two different genuses (Triticum and Secale, forming Triticale). Plants are easy to observe this in as they more often survive polyploidy .

Do you mind me asking what titles and editions you are using?Like I said before it is limited to that which I have studied in college.Geaneral text books. Mainly A&P, and General Biology. Didn't mean to imply that I was an expert in the field. Need to be more careful in response.
I would agree that Evolution is a fact.
As to the workings of Evolution, as in natural selection, mutations, survival of the fittest. I thought that these are not understood to be facts in a complete sense. Not saying all of it is trash, just that portions of each have gaps that are still being addressed. This is the sense I have gotten since gr12 bio. I didn't go much past that level. Anyone want to send me The Origin of Species? Should probably start reading more on this. Because if its being hardballed as facts then I have a lot of understanding to do.
Also the OP used a quote to misrepresent the intent of the person quoted. The person said Evolution is a fact, not saying Evolution by Natural Selection. Or maybe I misunderstood?
