I won’t press you for an answer...really the only good things are the results of what certain technologies have provided.

Evolution, Cosmology, Physics, abiogensis is a result of the same science as our technologies, which fortunately and unfortunately can be used for good and bad. Science is simply science regardless of what we believe.

But people are more vicious & selfish than ever.

Fortunately and unfortunately human nature has never changed, along with the good, bad, ugly indifferent, vicious, selfish or whatever.

Well . . . your still neglecting the facts of the evidence and resorting to selective extreme examples, and neglecting the fact that human attributes of intelligence is by degree and not in an absolute sense. Whales and other animals have been demonstrated to have sophisticates languages and like in whales have different languages or dialects from pod to pod. Animals have been shown to have their own languages, and we cannot understand them either, but apparently by the evidence dogs understand us better than we understand them. There is also evidence of tool use among animals passed down by being taught from generation to generation. Problem solving has been shown to be a sophisticated attribute of many animals.

Evolution demonstrates these differences by degree in the evolving nature of life, and specifically in the evolution of humanity.

What is the reason of this dive off topic? I can in a separate thread, document the evolution of intelligence in the animal kingdom including the evolution of intelligence in our primate lineage.
This is not off-topic. One reason is that some believe human language came about by evolution from...some species of apes, I suppose. And again, there is a big difference from a dog's understanding of the word "stop!" to understanding the works of Shakespeare.

May I ask how you quantify human nature as good, bad, ugly, indifferent, etc.?

Speaking of which, I was just reading about Louis Pasteur. While I attribute many beneficial teachings to Pasteur as far as scientific discovery goes, it comes out he (like the rest of humanity) was not perfect. Do I give him credit? Of course. He was not perfect in mind, body and spirit, as none of us are. The future of his life is in God's realm to decide. Although Einstein said, more or less, he had enough of life and did not wish to prolong it when he was ill--and that he believed the Bible was a book of myths, does that mean God will not allow him to see His wonderful works? Although God alone is the final judge, I believe Einstein will see what he evidently (from his own words) longed to see, that of peering into God's fabulous, wonderful works. One does not need to understand God's mind or workings to appreciate life. He allows us to peer into His works and be amazed by them.

Rain would do practically nothing. There are at most a few inches of water in the atmosphere if you average it out. And the ice sheets do not help the Noah's Ark myth either. Don't you realize that they have been there for longer than man has been on this Earth? In fact one of the easy refutations of the Noah's Ark myth is the fact that ice floats.
It seems evident that the topography of the earth changes at times. I brought up the ice as an example of water contained. And, if it melted, which ecologists are strongly warning about, the rising water for coastlines would be disastrous.

Yes, but it is a very slow process. For example the icesheets have been in place for longer than man has been on the Earth. They could not have been the source of the water for the Flood. And they would not come close to covering the continents even if totally melted. The Flood of Noah was dead long before Darwin came along.

Complex languages have naturally evolved in many mammals,Actually change the language in Shakespeare and many humans cannot understand it. not just our evolution Just because you can cite examples of complexity does not negate other mammals have complex languages. Not as much as you think. Simply research has shown dogs understand emotions, can perform complex tasks and understand our languages.

As far as other primates go they show complex emotions like mourning the lose of their relatives, and they have rules in their tribes, and punishment for violations,

Your non-scientific objections to evolution are clearly apparent.

I gotta ask....how did you find Wyatt's stuff in the first place? Did you just Google something like "archaeological evidence for the Exodus" and go with whatever came up that supported you? Did you do any investigation of Wyatt and his history at all?
I really don't know anything about Wyatt or his work. I will say this, however. The desert is a large place. Some rulers do like to change history to put themselves in the light. The history in Exodus is quite interesting, I will look at it again because the Israelites, large as the population was, did not establish roots there in the Sinai wilderness, but in that 40 year trek they stayed at many places. I am pretty sure they took their bowls and implements with them.

Change of language is not inherited, as genes are.

I'm really sorry that the world immediately around you is so terrible that you feel compelled to attribute it all to Satan. I guess if I was in that sad situation, maybe being a Jehovah's Witness would be more appealing. Is that kinda what you guys look for when you go door-to-door....people who have sad lives?

And I suppose I can take your repeated ignoring of my questions about Ron Wyatt as an indication that you've dropped that part of your argument. Overall, that's a good thing and I hope it makes you more cautious in the future.
So what do you believe? Are humans fallible, are all humans fallible, and how do you determine fallibility? Thanks.

I just feel for some people, especially in other countries who have it worse. My life isn’t that bad, though.
But I’m not naïve about the pain many are going through.

Take care, my cousin.
Psychiatrists may have a name for people who do awful things such as psychopath or sociopath or sadist etc. -- and maybe figure they had a messed up upbringing, but they can't really figure what makes a serial killer or someone who does terrible, awful hurtful things to others, I do agree that it is astounding with all the horrible, hurtful things people are doing. Sometimes a lawyer will get up in front of the court asking for mercy for his client, bringing out that he had a bad, bad upbringing.

You know that complex languages have evolved in many mammals because?? Now another question -- do you think another "population" emerged--what "language" did they speak?
Of course many humans cannot understand Shakespeare in another language, or even their native tongue. So? This argument actually goes against your figuring that complex language is a genetically evolved idea.

He put the stuff in his little museum which can pay to go see. Figure it out.
You just don’t remove valuable historical items from a country without permission. And he was not a criminal, FWIK.

No, there was some item related to the Israelite exodus from Egypt — and honestly, I can’t remember what it was...a chariot wheel, perhaps — that was in the possession of the Cairo Museum, but now some claim it is “lost.”

Shakespeare is written in English. At least, the English that was spoken at the time.
That's the entire point of mentioning it!

So you can provide the transportation papers from the Supreme Council of Antiquities right? I will wait.

Wyatts was a fraud.

It was coral, nothing more. The Cairo Museum never had it. Wyatts was lying.
