"Using a 5-year time frame focused solely on the undergraduate population, The Crimson found a significantly higher suicide rate [at Harvard].

Counting only enrolled undergraduates who committed suicide either on or off campus, the College’s suicide rate is 18.18 per 100,000. When students who committed suicide while taking a leave of absence are included, that rate increases to 24.24 per 100,000.

Even the most conservative calculation, made using only enrolled college students who committed suicide on campus, yields a rate of 12.12 per 100,000—over twice the rate provided by UHS last year, and nearly twice the national average for college students."

Various college suicide statistics.

So what. 1+1=2, if you take away all knowledge about how things are chosen, you take away all subjectivity in regards to what makes those decisions turn out the way they do as well. So with throwing out creationism, you throw out subjectivity as well, and that results in depression.

Lack of subjectivity does not cause depression.

Having your unproven beliefs shattered by science might do.
It might be better not to teach creation myths, as being factual in the first place.

The pressures at top Universities for students to be high achievers is enormous.
Many students have psychological weaknesses that can not cope with these pressures caused by the expectations of their families and the teaching staff.

Religion can be a crutch to help support those with such weaknesses.
Lack of faith in religion is not a cause of this depression.

Even if causation were shown, which it has not, it has no effect on whether a particular god belief is true or not. Believing in a lie is no way to go through life.

Perhaps the religious students are the ones committing suicide, eh?
Also, suicides are often preceded by exclaiming "Allah u akbar!".
But never do we hear "There is no god!".
Employing subjectivity, this shows that atheists are less prone to suicide.

Harvard is not a top university, it is just another hellhole of depression. It should be closed down as a health hazzard. Obviously there is a pervasive atmosphere of rejection of subjectivity at the university. It is caused by evolution theory, which is really more of a mental disease than a scientific theory. They are suffering from evolution theory.

There is a systematic attack on people's religious sentiments, and emotions in general, coming from the atheist community, for the simple reason that emotions are not objective things.

This isn't true.
In my last post, I proved subjectively that religion caused the depression & suicides at Harvard.
This is now incontrovertible fact, so to deny it is to reject both subjectivity & logic.

It just really is rejection of subjectivity, and no joke. Nobody who accepted subjectivity is valid, would write the way about subjectivity that you do, even as a joke.

You must have some sort of persecution complex to believe people are out to get you, and negate your religion.
Mostly people have no interest in each other or their various religions, certainly not enough to attack them.

It's not reality. Reality is evolutionists go out of their way to make a point of it that what is not material, or cannot be evidenced, can therefore not be accepted as real. Consequently emotions being subjective are discarded as not real.

Sorry I don't get it...?
If that was supposed to be a joke, the punch line is terrible.

Why do you even care about what goes on in Harvard? it was never intended as a place for the unintelligent.

You just don't understand subjectivity.
Because I do, I am therefore right.
It's obvious.

You have no concept about how choosing works, you have no idea about subjectivity.

In creationism both fact and opinion are fully explained and validated in 1 conceptual schem. Opinion applies to the creator, and fact applies to the creation (what could be more simple?)

I am just spreading the news of the evils of evolution theory, and warning people not to associate with Harvard university, as it is a hellhole of depression.

Au contraire, bruderherz....I perform choosing regularly, & I often do it subjectively.
I even go both ways....subjective and objective.
Armed with bijective choosing ability, the truth becomes obvious to me.
If we put it up to a vote, you'd see that other posters side with me.
Popular opinion is the standard for discerning truth, you know.

There is no species of men called evolutionists. A large majority of rational men agree about the science of evolution. They are likely to attack nothing except ignorance in all its forms.

Emotions are real enough to the person experiencing them, However they are not a proof of anything except to themselves. They have no place in an educational establishment, except perhaps as a subject for study.

The ignorance and prejudice obvious in this comment is astounding. Your argument is that everyone is wrong and you are right.
