Faith closes the mind. It is pure idol worship.

It's called brainwashing.
Have you ever been a Christian?
I am not brainwashed. I didn't even learn Christianity as a child, my mother was an atheist when I was a small child and never even spoke of religion outside of Zen Buddhism (she didn't follow it, she admired it). I was nearly 18 when I became a Christian and no one pushed me to it.

I was trained in college to be a preacher.
There is much care that goes into manipulating the truth behind the pulpit.
It is a business.

I wasn't saved in a Church or by a preacher. I'd never even been to Church when I decided to become a Christian, all I had done is read the Christian scriptures (aka the New Testament). My grandmother gave us the book "Good News for Modern Man", which is the first Bible ever in our home. :)

What has happened to you is great, it happened to me as well.

I thought that becoming a Christian was the obvious thing to do at that point in my life and it was.
What i didn't know was where the truth was to be found so i enrolled in Bible College.
I have since spent years trying to undo the stuff that was taught to me as truth.

Why would you let someone tell you what you should think?
Move on and continue reading and learning for yourself what the truth is.
Everything you need is inside of you.

I don't recall anyone telling me how I should think. Any study I do is of my own free will.

It gets worse when you realize that God set up the system, God created the people knowing full well that they'd sin, so he set up a scenario where he knew that he'd need to have Jesus killed to forgive people for something that God created in the first place.

And Christians think this is something to be proud of?

It is a special distorted Christian view of love that sees, --- as the greatest act of love possible, --- their God condemning them, and then turning and demanding his son’s deaths and thus corrupting God's perfect justice. A bribe set by God as judge himself for himself. This is of course ridiculous.

Christians have an insane view of love, IMO.

Tell that to Isaac Newton, Kepler, Bacon, Da Vinci, Fermi, Maxwell, Lavoisier, Ampere, Faraday, Galileo, Babbage, Riemann, Kelvin, Marconi, Braun, Sandage, etc...... of the rest of histories greatest minds who were men of faith.

Then why do you all idol worship?

You idol worship your Godinabook and even Mohamed. Muslims even kill for these idols.

We don't idol neither the Quraan nor the prophet peace be upon him. Muslims killing each other is an anti Islamic practice.

Sure and you can compare your few names to the statistics that say that better than 95% of all scientists reject a creator God.
