The problem is that mammoth finds do not match those of flood believers. They match those of what one would expect if the mammoths died as the ice advanced.
Both of you are talking complete garbage.

Yes, I am guilty of oversimplification. Both of you are talking complete garbage.
Worse than thatYes, I am guilty of oversimplification.
Anybody have a comment re: the origin of the Chinese character for “boat”?
Just how did the number “8” with “persons” get in there?
Even rationalwiki trips itself up: they try to discredit the idea, but in explaining the Chinese characters as when saying ‘8 is commonly used, like in 8 immortals’, they unwittingly show the connection! Lol.
Anybody here w/o bias (not atheist, nor Christian) who is familiar w/ ancient Chinese characters?
Lol. Funny! You know that this was refuted a long time ago. This is merely bad translation of Chinese.
Why do you keep using old failed arguments? Don't you realize that doing so is not any different from lying.?

Funny! That the Flood occurred, even Jesus disclosed, at Matthew 24:37-39. He wasn’t a liar. No, I am deadly serious. Why do you think that lying for Jesus is a good thing to do?

All you and others present are suppositions. 2 Corinthians 4:4 reveals that many are blinded, by an Entity that you don’t even exists! Revelation 12:9 has more relevance now than at any other time in history.
The last time @Hockeycowboy started one of these flood threads, I provided him a link to a page where he could read the writings of 18th and early 19th century Christian geologists where they describe the reasons they ended up concluding that the Biblical flood didn't happen. In some of those writings they even get into how painful reaching that conclusion was, given their strong religious beliefs. An honest Christian would try to find out why scientists all but universally dismiss the flood myth.
Well remember, @Hockeycowboy prefers to rely on "God did that part" when faced with physical impossibilities for the Biblical flood (e.g., the water, the animals). Oddly enough though, he does so while at the same time trying to convince folks that the flood is supported by science.Hydroplate "theory" and other nonsense[edit]
See the main article on this topic: Hydroplate theory
More recent theories have seen creationists try to get around this by either placing the water underground, positing an ice or vapor canopy above the atmosphere, water being contained in sealed chambers, or by having comets bring the water. This is despite the Bible not really describing the flood as such — in fact, they have to make a very loose interpretation of the firmament noted in Genesis for this to work. They still ignore several factors, however. When placing the water beneath the Earth, the only viable method for releasing it is as steam,[8] which proceeds to sterilize the planet regardless of whether or not one is in a giant wooden boat.

Hockeycowboy told me he would read the material. Since then, I've repeatedly asked him (including in this thread) if he read it and what he thought of it...he has consistently ignored the question, thereby creating the impression that he never read the material at all.
Such is the nature of creationism....far safer to ignore inconvenient information than to look at it and then have to deal with it.
From what I've seen, lack of formal education among certain religious groups is a badge of honor. And certainly among Jehovah's Witnesses education beyond high school is strongly discouraged.Calcified ignorance. Who is going to admit they failed to get an education?
If you need to ask that, then why are you a Christian? He was there to see it.How would Jesus know?

John 17:5...”And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.”
For one calling themselves Christian, your lack of faith in God’s Word is appalling. Hebrews 11:6. 2 Timothy 3:16 has no meaning to you, I guess.
Of course evidence is there! I don’t ignore it or say it’s unexplained, like others do.Well remember, @Hockeycowboy prefers to rely on "God did that part" when faced with physical impossibilities for the Biblical flood (e.g., the water, the animals).
