...the gal with an avatar.....
All in all, Wonder Woman was a solid beginning to what I hope will be an interesting franchise unfolding forward. And you know really, if these fifteen issues were “the worst,” then we’re off to a good start.
1. Gal
2. Samus Aran in her exoskeleton
3. Just because I choose it as my avatar doesn't mean I look up to the character or want to be her. I know that's a difficult concept.
A bunch of shallow nitpicky "reasons" with a hyperbolic click baity title. It takes issue with her shoes for crying out loud. Like damn, even Lord of the Rings fans are less anal retentive than that. Also it seems to want all the information spoon fed to them, like they're a useless moron. Granted the writing could have been tighter in the film. But still.
I actually agree. Superheroes or characters like them (in any medium) are specifically designed to be role models. Well, usually anyway. Whilst that may be more for children, there's nothing really wrong with anyone, young or old, liking a character to the point where they want to emulate some of their positive traits.Ha ha. You're just as guilty. It's just fantasy. Nothing wrong with a young child or even an adult fantasizing being a super hero. That's part of the magic of movies, books and stories such as this (when done properly). It's not like someone dressing up as this hero and trying to save the world. We even have cosplay now where usually adults in good physical shape dress up trying to look like their super heroes.
I just saw it today. Don't see it as sexist at all. Think it's a great movie. Way better than that Dawn of Justice crap.
