For Women: Wonder Woman is super sexist and now I'm confused...

I do not think this film is about women so much. Seemed like they were putting forward the idea that love and truth were opposed principles. The male god was the god of truth, and the female god was the goddess of love. Truth had already destroyed every other god except for her. I thought this was an interesting thing to drop in and made this the best DC film so far.

1. Gal
2. Samus Aran in her exoskeleton
3. Just because I choose it as my avatar doesn't mean I look up to the character or want to be her. I know that's a difficult concept.

Ha ha. You're just as guilty. It's just fantasy. Nothing wrong with a young child or even an adult fantasizing being a super hero. That's part of the magic of movies, books and stories such as this (when done properly). It's not like someone dressing up as this hero and trying to save the world. We even have cosplay now where usually adults in good physical shape dress up trying to look like their super heroes.

A bunch of shallow nitpicky "reasons" with a hyperbolic click baity title. It takes issue with her shoes for crying out loud. Like damn, even Lord of the Rings fans are less anal retentive than that. Also it seems to want all the information spoon fed to them, like they're a useless moron. Granted the writing could have been tighter in the film. But still.
I only hope the list was a tongue in cheek endeavor and not a serious film critique. If it wasn't, then the writer should probably go away and learn film study properly.

I actually agree. Superheroes or characters like them (in any medium) are specifically designed to be role models. Well, usually anyway. Whilst that may be more for children, there's nothing really wrong with anyone, young or old, liking a character to the point where they want to emulate some of their positive traits.
Like the old Captain America comics that were shipped to soldiers during WWII. It was used to boost morale because the idea was that the soldiers could see themselves in the very masculine, manly heroic Captain America. That was it's purpose in the first place.

We seem to have no issue with idolizing certain real life people, but if it's a fictional character it's suddenly "childish." I never understood that.

I just saw it today. Don't see it as sexist at all. Think it's a great movie. Way better than that Dawn of Justice crap.

I agree, but then I've seen info-mercials about toilet bowl cleaners that were way better than that Dawn of Justice crap. :D
