Yep, clearly now believing Jesus is a myth based on earlier Gods, a former radical Christian comes out against the existence of Jesus.

Yes, I do believe that there are possibilities of "other" savior gods before Jesus. I think the names are not important, the only figure is that it is related to race.....

To say that God and Jesus Christ do not exist is to say that we do not exist.

If we deny God he will deny us. He lends us our very breath. He lives and we exist, and continue to exist, by His grace.

Well Solon,

I am sure that Jesus is running scared now! He has been found out! Yet out of ALL those saviors (which he talked about) only HE was resurrected. Thought you should know.

Assumes your conclusion. Your argument is circular.

Yet out of ALL those saviors (which he talked about) only HE was resurrected.
Osiris, Dionysus, mithras (in many versions).. not to mention any number of sun gods.

We were created in God's image. We have a creator. We were not made my accident or by evolutionary processes. We are men and women who have been created in the image of an all seeing, all knowing, all powerful God. To say that God does not exist would be to say that we do not exist. He created us and if He is imaginary then we are imaginary creatures. We do not exist. We only think we exist.

Your conclusiosn ride on your claims. That there is a God, that we are made in his image, etc.

You cannot assert that we are made in God's image, therefore there is a God; while asserting there is a God we are therefore only his image (well, you can assert it; much as you can assert that the flying spagetti monster did it)... not that either assertion would get you to a Yeshua Bin Yeseph of Nazereth anyway.

My claim of a God that created us in His image is more credible than saying we were made by accident or evolutionary processes. No one can assert that a car was made by accident or evolved over time. It is impossible. There has to be a creator of all things. Things don't create themselves, they are created by an intelligent being. God exists. To say otherwise would deny the existence of a supreme being. A more intelligent being than ourselves.

To say that we are an accident or evolved from another lower form of life would be to believe a more ridiculous conclusion.

There's nothing "clear" about religion... especially when trying to debunk or prove something none of us have witnessed.

What does that have to do with the topic of a former fundamentalist Christian denying Christ?

Jesus Christ is the creator of this world and everything in it at the direction of God the Father. Jesus Christ himself said he was the God of this world.

I am more than a little suspicious of people indicated in this piece. BangBang for example, I can handle. His angst seems normal. To go to the bother of having a TV show made, debunking your formal love, is stretching credulity. One wonders what his new pet theory is. Considering he was "soooo" wrong once before, why on Earth should we believe what he is parroting now? What will the guy be telling us next year? :biglaugh:

Jesus Christ is the creator of this world. Jesus Christ created this world at the direction of God the Father. Jesus Christ is our elder brother who was created by God. Jesus Christ is God, as is the Father. They are one in the same. Same purpose, same powers, same status, etc. There are no differences other than personalities. God and Christ are one in purpose and have the same powers. God the Father and God the Son.

I can say I'm the queen of Poland, but unfortunately that doesn't make it so. :(

I agree with you, YmirGF. I'm thinking this is little more than a publicity stunt and an attempt to gain money.

I can say Jesus Christ is God because He always has been, is and always will be.

Yes, you can, and I don't see how your right to believe what you want is relating to the topic at hand. Similarly, I have a right to believe he was a good guy but not God.

If you'd like to create another thread about Jesus being God, please do so, but let's stay on topic in this one.
