Uh huh. So from wiki:

In 2012, demographers estimated the core American Jewish population (including religious and non-religious) to be 5,425,000 (or 1.73% of the US population in 2012), citing methodological failures in the previous higher estimates

Now Islam is usually estimated around 2 million. 2X4=8. 2.7125X2=5.425. Am I missing something here?

Yes you're definitely missing something, according to wikipedia, Jews, not just Jewish religion followers amount to 2.6% of the US population, Muslims account for only .6% of the US population. 2.6 divided by .6 equals just over 4 times as many Jews as Muslims in America, so my original statement is true and yours totally bogus.

No. The percentage of the population that is actually Jewish is lower. Also, we only use religion as a measure because that's how the hate crimes data is collected.

Jewish descendant people make up 2.6% of the population, Jews who consider themselves Jewish religion make up 1.7%, you had that fact completely backwards. 2.6% equals about 8 million Jewish descent. PS I think you need to talk to some real Jews about just what makes you Jewish, its definitely NOT religion.

Those cartoons are disgusting.

EDIT: While you shouldn't face arrest for bigoted drawings, the comparison to Charlie doesn't appear to stand up. They aren't satirical they look closer to hate speech.

Ugh, you are not paying attention to what I am saying at all. I'm done arguing about what percentage of the U.S. is Jewish. The bottom line is that these cartoons are not equivalent to blasphemous depictions of Muhammad, and anyone arguing otherwise is being disingenuous.

I'm not paying attention to what you say because as I have demonstrated, much of it is not true!!

I don't think you understand. There is a difference between being Jewish and being a Zionist. When you are expressing antisemitism, you are including Jews all around the world and in Israel itself who are not Zionists or are anti-Zionist.

Which is why I have a big problem with arresting Zeon.
Those are political cartoons. Sharply pointed, but political, not anti-Jewish or blasphemous.
I understand both of them. I agree with the message of the first one far more than the second. I have nuanced views about both, I don't agree with either one completely.
But France cannot arrest Zeon for having an opinion and expressing it peacefully and still claim to have free speech. It doesn't.

And this is different from the Charlie Hebdo racist caricature of the Prophet Mohammad how?????

Israeli citizens are not rioting in the streets over these cartoons as opposed to the thousands of Muslim rioters in multiple countries over the Charlie Hebdo cartoons.

Zionists don't need to take to the streets when the French government will squelch antiZionists for them.

The Israeli military recently killed about 300-500 children in Gaza. Is that anti Jewish to say that???

But as was pointed out earlier, at least one of the cartoons was expressing antisemitism.

That was asserted, not pointed out.
I'm assuming you mean the one on the left.
What I saw was the devil cleverly making one of the many crimes against humanity outweigh all the others, while wearing a Jewish mask. That is a political statement, not an antiJewish statement. If I were doing it I would put a mask of G W Bush on it. But it wasn't me.

Jewish people cannot hold politically controversial views like Zionism, then ask governments to arrest people for making political cartoons.
Not here in the free world anyway.

And screaming "antisemitism" whenever someone says something Zionists don't like doesn't help.
