A rather esoteric question: Do you believe there are infinite universes in reality? And Paramapadam is the centre of it all?

I think this appears to have become a "general purpose" Gaudiya Vaishnavism thread. I hope so, this means it is opportune to delve into all sorts of discussion under the theme of GVism including history, and then see how far one discussion lives or dies for the day or where it may led to next.

I think this is a thread of many GV discussions and one does not necessarily need to be a Gaudiya Vaishnav persona-living to chip in, some can have some reasonable scholarship on the matter no matter which branch of Hinduism, and certainly those who have had expedience with fellow GV's in the family of Hinduism can offer some ideas or perspective.

I would like to indirectly talk about Steve Jobs (the former Apple "founder", now dead) as a segue into bringing up a Gaudiya Vaishnav of sorts, the great Bhakta named Neem Karoli Baba, though this was only one of his names (Maharaji - no, not Guru Maharaji, Neeb Karori, Lakshmi Narayan Sharma, Lakshman Das, Handi Wallah Baba, and Tikonia Walla Baba, also known in Vrindavan as Chamatkari Baba).

When Steve Jobs was young, he would go to the ISKCON Temple (Hare Krishna) in Portland, Oregan (USA). Later in life, he didn't want much exposure to his involvrment with ISKCON later when he became the icon of Apple Computers.

But many Krishna devotees of ISKCON, some of whom left the "movement", recall Steve Jobs the "bhakta" during the 1960s and early 70s before the "great turmoil" of "the eleven" (gurus, GBC), which turmoil may have turned Jobs off in regards to ISKCON. But he wasn't just seen frequently at the Portland Temple, but others recall washing dishes with him to help clean up the Berkeley, California, Jagannath (ISKCON) Temple and at many other Hare Krishna venues.

By the time the troubles first started in ISKCON, Steve Jobs travelled to India in 1973 to meet Neem Karoli Baba, a great Bhakta practitioner of Bhakti Yoga who died in Vrindavan in September of 1973. Unfortunately the Baba died before Jobs got to Vrindavan, so Steve Jobs never personally met him. The Guru of Neem Karoli Baba was Lord Hanuman directly, who is still alive in the forests of India but on occasion shows up elsewhere.

This Baba had a teaching of bhakti yoga, in the spirit of service or SEVA, especially to others and where there is no greater offense than to offend the most humble devotee.

Some may not know that Steve Jobs was a cofounder of SEVA (yes, in the name of Baba's teachings of seva or service) the now famous Foundation that fights blindness in India, Nepal and elsewhere. And this all started BEFORE Apple.

Here is another trivia. Some have written about how the name Apple in Apple Computers came about. Even Jobs himself has created stories on that.

But some say the simple truth of the matter is, it came from the record label "Apple Records" as in the Beatles, but more particular in honor of George Harrison who was an ISKCON advocate who helped publish Prabhupad's books. Steve Jobs came in contact with Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, and had a fondness with Harrison due to George's ties to ISKCON. Some say it was Bob Weir who first got Jobs interested in Harrison.

Though Steve Jobs never talked about these things to his tech types later in life, those involved in Hinduism in America say it is true. You can believe them, or believe Jobs was not so simply because he didn't talk about it too much later in life.

One thing though, it appears he didn't want to go back to India personally. Why? Some say it had to do with, one, never personally meeting with "Baba" - who died just before he arrived. As if, he failed for some reason or had some karma or sin such that he was denied.

And others say, his feelings became more fixed later with a sense of let down. Some say it had to do with what some claim involving Prabhupad's death. Some say Prabhupad was poisoned in his final days in Vrindavan. By someone or persons of what became "the eleven". They say Prabhupad himself said someone is poisoning him in Hindi, then he died. That rumors like that, turned something in Steve Jobs.

But the other part of this story is, Neem Karoli Baba. Some GV's may not know of him. They may find him an interesting soul. Who wandered here and there. Many paths often cross. Take Steve Jobs and the many who he crossed paths with. But he never crossed paths with that Baba. He missed him by just a moment in time. Well, at least on the physical level.

After the sad discussions today, I would like to share a bhajan very dear to me. It was composed by Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya, who was famed in India as a great commentator and speaker of Vedanta Sutras. He agreed to meet with Lord Chaitanya and teach Him his meaning of the Vedanta Sutras. For seven days and nights Lord Chaitanya listened to the Vedanta commentary of Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya yet remained silent. When Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya asked Him what was wrong, the Lord replied "O Sarvabhauma your commentaries cover the actual meaning of Vedanta. Know for certain that the absolute non-dual Truth is Sri Krsna complete in His form which is composed of Sat-Cid-Ananda. The highest Dharma of all souls is to worship that Supreme Lord and develop Love for Him". In this way, the Lord refuted each one of Sarvabhauma's points and established the theology of Acintya Bheda Abheda. This philosophy was then taught by Sarvabhauma to his disciple Madhusudana Vanaspati who then taught it finally to Jiva Goswami.Based on this teachings, Srila Jiva Goswami then wrote the six sandarbhas which are the crest jewel of Gaudiya shatras, and fully delineate Acintya Bheda-abheda. Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya then became a great Vaishnav, and wrote many astakams in the glory of Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda Prabhu. This astakam is one of them, and is called Sacitanayastakam (because Lord Gaura is the darling son of Saci Maa). For those who understand Sanskrit, the wording is so beautiful.

That is Lord Nitai. Nitai's mother was Padmavati, but Lord Chaitanya's mother was Saci Devi, just like Krsna's mother was Yashoda and Balaram's was Rohini. The bengali devotees lovingly call her "aaii" meaning mother (for she is the mother of whole world). Below you can see the deities which were established in the house of Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu. His father, Jagannatha Mishra is on the left.

To the bazaar of Lord Chaitanya (Gaur Chand) and at the court of Lord Nityananda, the one who has undivided mind can only go, only he/she can go o’ brother. If you have double mind, you will fall into trap/water and will not be able to go to the shore. Only undivided mind can go. To the bazaar of Lord Chaitanya (Gaur Chand) and at the court of Lord Nityananda, the one who has undivided mind can only go, only he/she can go o’ brother. 4x10=40 sher (unit of weight) equals a “mon” (like 40 kg) (here “mon” is a double entendre. It also means the mind). Ah! Hori Bol, Hori Bol! (amen! Amen!). Even if there is a gram less the broker (here Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda are considered as the Intermediaries of Lord Krishna). There is another doctor (physician) is waiting. Queen Sri Radharani (the eternal consort of Lord Krishna) who is the boatwoman in Vrindavan (Braj) to help cross the ocean of life. Only the one with undivided mind can go. To the bazaar of Lord Chaitanya (Gaur Chand) and at the court of Lord Nityananda, the one who has undivided mind can only go, only he/she can go o’ brother. Hori Bol! Hori Bol! Again a wood-cutter cannot discern diamond, and a bullock in the sugar mill does not get the taste of sugar. On the other hand, a gold smith can recognize gold, and takes gold after examining. If someone does not know the manual process (the singer shows by hands-upward downward movements) of making a particular sweet out of molasses, how he will make that sweet? How the common people would know the formula of mellow (bhakti yoga) of the Crazy Bhoba (the writer/devotee of the song)? Victory /glory to Bhoba? Only the one with undivided mind can go. It is not a symbol but a decoration done by lime, colored rice powder or even with flowers. It is known as 'alpona' (alpana) in Bengali, Mandana in Rajasthan, Rangoli in Hindi. Can be done on walls or floor. It is known by various other names in Kerala, Tamilnadu, etc. It is done on festivals or on social occasions (marriages, etc.). Some like to have this even normally but then the alpanas will be simpler. There are Rangoli competitions also. Swastikas are common in Rangolis/Alpanas. Normally people will side-step Rangolis/Alpanas on floor. (Alpana derives from Skt. Lepa - to smear)

Thank you so much for this bhajan Mataji, it is one of favorite. Joy Nitai! Joy Gaura! Nitai has opened a Nama Hatta (market of the name) where everyone can come and get the pure name. jati dhana vidya bala na kare apeksha, :Lord Nitai does not discriminate between caste, wealth, strength and knowledge", that is why He is my Lord. That is Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur sings so gloriously:

ara nahika kalira bhoye, acandale deye Nama, Nitai doyamaya
Bhaktivinoda dake koi, Nitai carana bina ara, nahi asroya!"

"Now there is no fear of Kaliyuga, because Merciful Nitai is giving the Name to even the dog eaters! Bhaktivinoda yells aloud, "There is no shelter other than Nitai's feet!".

Am sorry, but I really want to share another nice bhajan on this. I want to cry for Nitai's Mercy whenever I hear it.

(refrain) pahum mora nityananda raya

"O Nityananda Raya is my Lord"

mathiya sakala tantra hari-nama maha-mantra
kare dhari jibere bujhaya

Churning all the scriptures, my Lord Nityananda Raya extracted the nectar that is the maha-mantra of Lord Hari’s holy names. Taking the people of this world by the hand, He taught them the glory of that nectar of the holy names.

chaitanya agraja nama tri-bhubane anupama
suradhuni-tire kari thana
hata kari parabandha raja haila nityananda
pashandi-dalana birabana

Lord Nityananda, who is Lord Chaitanya’s elder brother, and who is the most glorious in all the worlds, went to the Ganga’s bank and opened a marketplace. Powerful Lord Nityananda, who crushes the demons, became the king of that marketplace.

rama-i su-patra haiya raja-ajna cala-iya
kotoyala haila hari-dasa
krishna-dasa laiya dadya keha ya-ite nare bhadya
likhana padhane shrinibasa

Ramai Pandita became the superintendent of that marketplace. By the king’s (Nitai's) order he appointed Haridasa Thakura as the policeman there. Krishna-dasa was the doorman. To stop any cheating, Shrinivasa was appointed the accountant.

pasariya bishwambhara ara priya gadadhara
ashcarya catware biki kini
gauri-dasa hasi hasi bajara nikaöe basi
hattera mahima kichu shuni

Lord Vishvambhara (Chaitanya) Himself has became a shopkeeper in that marketplace. So have dear Gadadhara and many others. In that market there is a great wonder of buying and selling. Having heard something of its glories, Gauri-dasa* has come to visit that market. He smiles and smiles.

*Gauridasa Pandit is considered to be an incarnation of Subala Sakha (one of Balaram's associates), and thus one of the dear associates of Lord Nityananada, He cared for Lord Nitai Gaur in Vatsalya bhava (loving them as his own children). Below are his deities which are still situated today in Ambika Kalna (where Lord Nitai was married). My Param Gurudeva Srila Bhaktishastri Parampada Maharaj did his bhajan in this holy place.

The Glories of Navadwipa Dhama

Yesterday was the auspicious day when devotees began a week long parikrama around the nine islands of Navadwipa, where Lord Gauranga performed His pastimes. Each of the islands represents one limb of the nine-fold process of Bhakti, and Gaudiya Vaishnavs usually fly in from all over the world to undertake the parikrama (meaning tour). The tour takes one week, and ends in the Yogapitha of Mayapura (where Lord Chaitanya was born) which coincides with His appearance day. This year, His appearance day falls next week Wednesday (the full moon of the month of Magha). In preparation for this, I would like to share some glories of Navadwipa Dhama, where Sankirtan of the Lord's Names is always happening 24/7. The following is a lecture which has emerged from the Lotus mouth of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayan Maharaj, who was the spiritual successor of Srila Prabhupada and a very very advanced Vaishnav.

"
In Goloka Vrndavana the opulence is covered.

Krsna’s madhurya-lila includes aisvarya. When Krsna lifted Govardhana Hill the cowherd boys thought that He must be getting tired. They considered, "We should also help to hold up Govardhana with our sticks." Others thought, "Because of Nanda Maharaja’s austerities, Lord Narayana had entered Krsna’s body. It is actually Lord Narayana who is holding up Govardhana." The gopis were glaring upon Govardhana and they said to him, "If you fall down on Krsna, we will curse you." So these are human-like pastimes. When Krsna was a baby He showed His mother His universal form, and everything was there within His mouth – all incarnations, all universes, all elements, all senses, and so forth. Despite this, however, Yasoda maiya could not conceive that her son is God.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is Krsna Himself, and His dhama, Sri Navadvipa, is Vrndavana itself. In Navadvipa He was known as Saci-putra and Sacinandana, the son of Saci-mata and Jagannatha Misra. He was also called Visnupriya-pati, the husband of Srimati Visnupriya-devi. Practically no one there knew He was the Supreme Lord. Two of His friends at that time were Jagadananda Pandita and Svarupa Damodara. They were his fellow-students when He attended the school of Gangadasa Pandita, and they all performed their madhurya-lila there. As there are so many human learned scholars or panditas, the residents of Navadvipa considered Saci-putra to be Nimai Pandita*, a very good human pandita. There is no aisvarya in this name Nimai Pandita. It is nara-vat. When Kesava Kasmiri, the digvijaya (challenging scholar), came to defeat the panditas of Navadvipa, they decided to make Nimai Pandita their representative. They considered Him to be just a boy. Therefore, if He would lose, they could then say, "He's just a boy." And if He would win, they could consider it a great victory for Navadvipa that their boy-scholar was successful.

Being fellow-students in Gangadasa Pandit’s school, Jagadananda Pandita and Nimai Pandita used to have friendly arguments about logic. Sometimes they would argue about the definition of mukti. Jagadananda Pandita would quote the verse beginning, "Atyantya dukha nivritti – Liberation means to be delivered from the miseries of maya." But Nimai Pandita would say, "No. The real definition of mukti is: 'Mukti hitva anyata rupam, svarupena vyavastiti – Mukti is that condition in which one realizes his own svarupa and the svarupa of Krsna, and he realizes his relationship with Krsna. Liberation from all false identifications is only possible when one knows his real identification. When one surrenders to the lotus-feet of Radha and Krsna and serves Them with one’s transcendental body and senses, that is mukti. Otherwise mukti is only partial.'" So this is nara-lila – human-like friends arguing together.

In Jagannatha Puri, on the other hand, there were so many opulent pastimes, which everyone knew could not be performed by a human being. For example, when Mahaprabhu jumped in the ocean and was caught in the fisherman’s net, His body became elongated and all His joints were separated by eight inches. This is opulence, and this is very deep and very hard to understand. After Mahaprabhu completed his talks with Ramananda Raya, He tasted the fruits in Gambhira and only three-and-one-half persons were allowed to enter there – Sri Ramananda Raya, Sri Svarupa Damodara, Sikhi Mahiti, and his sister Srimati Madhavi-devi.

Dvaraka is full of opulence. There are so many palaces, elephants, horses, and chariots there. Similarly, in Puri there was so much veneration by all Mahaprabhu’s devotees, and all were fearful to make proposals to Him. In Navadvipa, on the other hand, Kolaveca Sridhar would have arguments with Nimai Pandita – and Nimai would even steal his vegetables.

In Vraja, Sri Krsna is considered an ordinary cowherd-boy. In Navadvipa, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is considered an ordinary brahmana’s son. No one could conceive of Him being called Mahaprabhu in Navadvipa. Only when He went to Puri did He begin to be called Mahaprabhu. In Navadvipa He sucked the breast of Saci-devi. He played with the girls who were worshipping Siva-linga to get a good husband. He also sometimes behaved as a mischievous student. His lila, therefore, is called madhuryamayi-lila. Someone may object to this statement, considering that He manifested as Nrsimhadeva and Varaha in Navadvipa. This is true, but hardly anyone saw this. Practically all the devotees always thought He was simply Saci-putra. Only a few were in the mood of worship, like Murari Gupta (who is Hanuman) or Srivas Pandita (who is Narada Muni), understood Him as the Supreme Lord."

*One of Lord Chaitanya's names were Nimai Pandit. Nimai because He was born under a Neem Tree, and Pandit because He was an expert of the Nyaya Shastras, even as a child.

You can see here, that last year,, Ganga began to flood the temple at Mayapur. Maybe she simply wanted to have the darshan of her Lord and Mistress, Sri Sri Radha Krsna and wash their feet?

Today is Gaura Purnima (the full moon of Lord Gaura) which is the appearance day of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. On the day of the Lord's appearance, there was a lunar eclipse, and on this pretense, everyone in Nadiya (Navadwipa) chanted the Holy Name of Krsna. Amidst the chanting of Harinama, the Lord appeared, just like the sun rises in the darkness. The following Padavali was written by Narottama das Thakur for His glorifcation. The first syllable of each line follows sequence of consonants in the Bengali alphabet (k, kh, g, gh, n...etc):

kali-yuge shri krishna chaitanya abatara
khelibara prabandhe kaila khola karatala

In the Kali-yuga Shri Krishna Chaitanya descended to this world. He enjoyed kirtana pastimes with khola and karatala.

gadagadi yana prabhu nija sankirtane
ghare ghare hari-nama dena sarba-jane

Chanting His own holy names, He rolled on the ground in ecstasy. Going from house to house, He gave to everyone the gift of Lord Hari's holy name.

uccaih-sware kande prabhu jibera lagiya
cetana karana jibe krishna-nama diya

For the benefit of the jivas, the Lord loudly wept in the ecstasy of spiritual love. Giving them the gift of Lord Krishna's holy names, He revived the jivas.

chala chala kare ankhi nayanera jale
jagata pabitra kaila gaura-kalebare

Tears of ecstatic spiritual love flowed from His eyes. His fair spiritual form purified all the worlds.

jhala jhala mukha yena purna shashadhara
emata ta dekhi na-i dayara sagara

His glorious face shone like the full moon. No one had ever seen an ocean of mercy like Him

talamala kare anga bhabete bibhola
thamake thamake cale bale haribola

Overcome with ecstatic spiritual love, His body trembled. Dancing and dancing as He went, He chanted, “Haribol!"

dorahi kaupina kshina katira upare
dhaliya dhaliya pade gadadhera krode

.A kaupina rested on His slender waist. Staggering and staggering as He walked, He fell at Gadadhara's side.

tana parasanga gora na shune shrabane
tana mana gana rase maja-iya mana

Lord Gauranga's ears never listened to anything but descriptions of Lord Krishna. His heart was plunged in the nectar of songs glorifying Lord Krishna.

thira nahi haya prabhura nayanera jala
dina-hina janere dhariya deya kola

He could not be peaceful. Tears of ecstatic spiritual love flowed from Lord Gauranga's eyes. The Lord hugged the poor fallen souls.

dheyamiya puraba piriti parasanga
na jani kahara bhabe ha-iya tri-bhanga

He meditated on the loving pastimes He previously enjoyed with His associates, pastimes He enjoyed as Lord Krishna. Who was the person with a threefold-bending form standing before Him? He did not know.

prema-rase bhasa-iya akhila samsara
phutila shri-brindabana suradhuni dhara

He made the whole world float in the nectar of ecstatic spiritual love. On the Ganga's banks He manifested the beautiful spiritual world of Vrindavana.

brahma maheshwara yare kare anweshana
bhabiya na pana yamre sahasra-locana

Brahma, Shiva, and all the demigods search for Him. Thousand-eyed Indra meditates on Him but cannot find Him.

matta matanga gati madhura mridu hasa
yashomati mata yamra bhubane prakasha

He walked like a graceful intoxicated elephant. His gentle smile was sweet. In His home Mother Yashoda was present.

ratipati jini rupa ati manohara
lila labanya yara ati anupama

His charming form defeated Kamadeva. His handsomeness and playfulness were without peer.

basudeba-suta se-i shri-nanda-nandana
shacira nandana ebe bale sarba-jana

Everyone says that Lord Krishna, who was the son of Vasudeva and the son of Nanda, has now become Shaci's son

catur-bhuja rupa haila aty-ashcarya-maya
sabadhana prana-natha gora rasamaya

He manifested a wonderful six-armed form. Lord Gaura is sweet like nectar. He is the master of my life.

hari hari bala bha-i kara maha-yajna
k****i-tale janmi keha na haiya abijna

O my brothers, please chant, "Hari! Hari!" Please perform a great yajna of chanting Lord Hari's holy names. Now that everyone chants the holy names, no one remains foolish and bewildered on the surface of the earth.

e cautrisha padabali ye kare kirtana
dasa narottama mage tahare carana

Narottama dasa prays at the feet of anyone who chants these 34 lines.

Reasons for Lord Chaitanya's appearance:

The following 3 verses very nicely summarize Gaura Tattva (the subject matter which is Lord Gaura) and for what reason Lord Gauranga has descended:

anarpita-carīṁ cirāt karuṇayāvatīrṇaḥ kalau
samarpayitum unnatojjvala-rasāṁ sva-bhakti-śriyam
hariḥ puraṭa-sundara-dyuti-kadamba-sandīpitaḥ
sadā hṛdaya-kandare sphuratu vaḥ śacī-nandanaḥ

"May the Supreme Lord who is known as the son of Śrīmatī Śacī-devī be transcendentally situated in the innermost chambers of your heart. Resplendent with the radiance of molten gold, He has appeared in the Age of Kali by His causeless mercy to bestow what no incarnation has ever offered before: the most sublime and radiant mellow of devotional service, the mellow of conjugal love."

rādhā kṛṣṇa-praṇaya-vikṛtir hlādinī śaktir asmād
ekātmānāv api bhuvi purā deha-bhedaṁ gatau tau
caitanyākhyaṁ prakaṭam adhunā tad-dvayaṁ caikyam āptaṁ
rādhā-bhāva-dyuti-suvalitaṁ naumi kṛṣṇa-svarūpam

"The loving affairs of Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are transcendental manifestations of the Lord’s internal pleasure-giving potency. Although Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are one in Their identity, previously They separated Themselves. Now these two transcendental identities have again united, in the form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya. I bow down to Him, who has manifested Himself with the sentiment and complexion of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī although He is Kṛṣṇa Himself."

śrī-rādhāyāḥ praṇaya-mahimā kīdṛśo vānayaivā-
svādyo yenādbhuta-madhurimā kīdṛśo vā madīyaḥ
saukhyaṁ cāsyā mad-anubhavataḥ kīdṛśaṁ veti lobhāt
tad-bhāvāḍhyaḥ samajani śacī-garbha-sindhau harīnduḥ

"Desiring to understand the glory of Rādhārāṇī’s love, the wonderful qualities in Him that She alone relishes through Her love, and the happiness She feels when She realizes the sweetness of His love, the Supreme Lord Hari, richly endowed with Her emotions, appeared from the womb of Śrīmatī Śacī-devī, as the moon appeared from the ocean."

The reason why Lord Gauranga is golden, is because He is Krsna, but covered in Radharani's mood (of a devotee) which is manifest by the color is His skin. radha bhava dyuti suvilitam naumi krsna swarupam.

May Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu bless everyone on this forum, on this Holy Day and may your spiritual paths take you to your ultimate destination.

A straight direct question: What makes Gaudiyas (and the Pancha Tattva) think that Sri Krishna is higher than Lord Narayana?

2) Lord Narayana has 60 transcendental qualities, while Sri Krsna has 64. Lakshmi herself is attracted to Sri Krsna to dance in rasa, but Radharani is only attracted Lord Krishna no-one else (not even Visnu). This is confirmed in Bhagavatam.
Where is this confirmed? As well as Lakshmi's attraction to Sri Krishna?

Where Bhagawtham mentions a gopi, they changed it into Radha. Jai Srimati Radharani.
http://bhagavata.org/canto10/chapter7.html

Radharani's name is not mentioned in directly Bhagavatam (and I have explained previously the reasons why), but it is the opinion of great scholars like Vishwanatha Cakravarti and Rupa Goswami (as well as Gurus like Ramabhadracharya, as well as alot of the other sampradayas) that the speaker was infact Radharani. Jiva Goswami gives the following verses from Agni Purana to support this:

gopyaḥ papracchur ūṣasi
 kṛṣṇānucaram uddhavam
harī-līlā-vihārāṁś ca
 tatraikāṁ rādhikāṁ vinā

rādhā tad-bhāva-saṁlīnā
 vāsanāyā virāmitā
sakhībhiḥ sābhyadhāc chuddha-
 vijñāna-guṇa-jṛmbhitam
ijyānte-vāsināṁ veda
 caramāṁśa-vibhāvanaiḥ

"At dawn the gopîs inquired from Krishna's servant, Uddhava, about the Lord's pastimes and recreation. Only S'rîmatî Râdhârânî, immersed in thought of Krishna, withdrew Her interest in the talks. Then Râdhâ, who is worshiped by the residents of Her Vrindâvana village, spoke up in the midst of Her girlfriends. Her words were full of pure transcendental knowledge and expressed the ultimate portion of the Vedas."

It doesn't really matter anyway. I was giving the Gaudiya position. The verse was spoken by a very important Gopi, even if some people don't think it was Srimati Radhika.
