Believing is not the function of science.
There won't be any experiment of science for your approval.
Science can take us to the 'point' of creation....no further.
.
True
Science does not try and force fit reality into known mythology
And theology picks up where science can only drop the ball.
False.
Theology doesn't have anything to do with Science.
Science has never tried to replace theology
Never said replace science with theology.
Science leads to theology....theology goes on where science cannot.
So does philosophy...is philosophy a religion?
I'm not religious.
But I've seen plenty of script by philosophers as they contemplate God.
Oh so you don't pray? Or meditate over the bible?
No ritual, list of prayers, no beads for your hand, no rug for your knees.....
No congregation and no one follows me.
Pray?....sure.
Consider carefully?...sure.
Say 'nay'?....not for your sake.
.
Science leads to theology....
theology goes on where science cannot
Nonsense

True, science stays out of imagination, wishing and wanting and known mythology..
Not true.
Lots of current science documentary about the bible.
Let me know when they discover talking snakes/donkeys/bushes, discover a firey pit of tortured souls in the center of the Earth, or find heaven in outer space somewhere.
Hi TL, If you do not see the truth in those factual events now, when you are made aware of those facts, it will be to late to let you know.
Then why doesn't your god make me aware of these "factual events" before it's too late. Until evidence is given for something I am going to assume it to be false. Empty threats do not phase me... sorry.
Hi TL, Those events are in the Bible( OT and NT).
I assure you that what GOD said was not "empty threats"....as is evidenced in those pages.
And how do you know what the Bible says is true? Were you there when it was written?
Oh joy...another 'let's see it in writing....then I will believe'.....
What DO have in writing is old and the details are dubious......granted.
But reason should be sufficient within yourself to say....the was a beginning.
Going back to the beginning is an item you can do in your head.
You just have to think about it.
Carefully.
I didn't say there wasn't a beginning... I am saying that there is absolutely zero evidence that it was done in a literal 6-day period, as the Bible claims.
