God... He or She?

To me.. Jesus said that they are one, BUT since you mentioned that he differentiated himself from God..
The reason was that God The Father was in spirit form and that Jesus (during his time of preaching) was in human form.
Therefore they were at the time.. Seperate entities therefore Jesus mentions God The Father as a separate entity.
Why would Jesus be a separate entity and then not be a separate entity at another time?
How is that related to Jesus being in spirit form vs. human form?
Plus he also said:
Before Abraham was.. I am
As I said before, I believe that Jesus existed in spirit form in the spiritual world before He was born into this world in human form, but how would that make Jesus God?

I would like to know, can you define what he or man means? What is the difference between he and she?

Gender identity.

In the case of God, He is the Father, because He fathered. That is why I think it is not really just an arbitrary identity thing.

What does "he fathered" mean in this context? Do you think God belongs to a species that reproduces sexually?

What sort of gametes does God have?

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Its your theory sport .. not mine :) Heh heh heh. how else you going to explain you being in the image of your creator .. given your non Biblical made up God definition didn't work .. what is the name of this God in the Bible that looks like you sport ... and please note that none of the Gods of the Bible fit your meaningless definition of God "all powerfull - all knowing" the classic default when someone has not a actually thought about the question "God is Everything" ..

.. "and there we have it folks".. a crucified position ! -- You said you were a Confident Kat .. and I realize that everybody wants to be a Kat .. because being a Kat .. is where it is at .. and everyone is holding out the welcome mat .. but, where is this feline God in the Bible that looks like you Sister K ? what is the name of this "All Powerfull God" that I have yet been able to find despite a lengthy decades long search ..
There you have it. Like I said.

The God revealed in the Bible is a warrior God, manly, powerful in strength. That is the God that those who choose to serve Him worship.

So if a person wants to serve another god, he can look for it somewhere else... Evidently, people invent whatever god they want. In pagan religions there are gods of all types and for all tastes: for drunks, for prostitutes, for murderers,... and surely also for lesbians and homosexuals. The gods that nations invent are the image that their inventors want to give them.

The God of the Bible is not an invented God.

Exo. 15:3 Jehovah is a powerful warrior. Jehovah is his name.

Psal. 24:8 Who is this glorious King?
Jehovah, strong and mighty,
Jehovah, mighty in battle.

Four of its main attributes are power and wisdom, justice and love.

This is so stupid.
The AristoKats are not "Stupid" nor is the name of God "Stupid" .. Not knowing the name nor identity of the creator God .. yet claiming to be in the image of such a God however, might qualify as such.

The question we are trying to get answered .. is who this God is Kathryn ? ... I am fine that you might be in the image of a God .. what I am trying to ascertain is which God you figure you are in the image of ? One with Two legs instead ofd 4 preferrably .. or like that Indian Goddess with many arms ..

Why is finding the name of your God .. or who you think might be your God because clearly you don't know at this moment ... a stupid pursuit ?

That's true, but that does not mean that God is a warrior. Only humans can be warriors and God id not a human being.
I consider it very sad that the OT anthropomorphized God. God is not a King or a warrior. God is not part of His creation.
God is immeasurably exalted above, all created things

“Regard thou the one true God as One Who is apart from, and immeasurably exalted above, all created things. The whole universe reflecteth His glory, while He is Himself independent of, and transcendeth His creatures.” Gleanings, p. 166

In the book of Revelation, God says that He is the beginning and the end, Jesus does not say that.

I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8).

What do you think the following verses mean? I don't think they mean that Jesus is God.

And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment” (Revelation 21:6).

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” (Revelation 22:13).

I and my Father are one does not mean that Jesus is God.

“I and my Father are one” (John 10:30) means that whatever pertains to Jesus, all His acts and doings, are identical with the Will of the Father. Jesus and God also share the same Holy Spirit, so in that sense they are one. Jesus also shares some (but not all) the Attributes of God so in that sense they are one.

Jesus was a Servant of God and that is why Jesus said to the Jews:

John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

John 10:37-38 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Jesus clearly differentiated Himself from the Father in the verses above and that alone means that Jesus was not God.

What verse in Isaiah says that?

I don't believe that Jesus 'only' received the Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus was a Messiah, but not the Messiah who would come in the latter days.
Is that what Bahaullah told you?

The Quran.
Chapter Al-Ikhlas(the purity)

Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;

And there is none like unto Him.

Since god is not begotten then he cannot be a man or a woman since that’s only possible with reproduction

It is to be reckoned that the gender is placed because of the limitations of language as well as fully understanding the essence of God. Assigning human features to God is not to be understood literally, and the masculine gender to describe God should not be taken literally. Does that make sense to you? (I hope so...it makes sense to me...:) )

I believe it was Baha'u'llah.
Hello, Trailblazer. You said earlier that you "believe that Jesus was a Messiah, but not the Messiah who would come in the latter days." And I asked you if Bahaullah told you this and you said no, the Bible said so. So please do inform how you see this from the Bible, as you say, that Jesus was a Messiah but not the Messiah who would in the latter days. Which you say is Bahaullah. Thank you so much!

I know that Jesus cannot be the Messiah who would come in the latter days because Jesus never promised to return to earth.
Rather, Jesus said that His work was finished here and He was No More in the world. John 14:19, John 16:10, John 17:4, John 17:11

The OT prophesied what the Messiah would do when He came in the messianic age, and the NT prophesied what Christ would do when He returns. Since Baha'u'llah has already fulfilled these prophecies Jesus cannot be the Messiah who would come in the latter days.
