. I believe in the biblical Adam and his descendants as having souls who will have a spiritual existence beyond their bodily existences on Earth.

I believe humans created mythology, and many modern men have done no credible research to actual determine what is mythology and what factual science has to say.

These primitive sculpture, tools, weapons you mentioned were made by soulless sub-human apes.

Unsubstantiated rhetoric based on lack of biological education, and an inane attempt to use mythology in place of credible science.

Nothing fits 6,000 years limitation.

I don't doubt the existence of artifacts from sub-human apes whom God would not allow to have a spiritual existence beyond their bodily existence..

Sub-human apes? No. Most of these examples of artifacts come from Homo sapiens. Homo sapiens have existed for over 100,000 years. And several of these examples are from the very same species... which is the species that you and I belong to. Humans. Not sub-humans or apes.

It's really easy to simply say that which refutes your preferred world view must come from something else. You can't prove that your god (and no other) exists or that "souls" are actually a thing. But science can prove how long humans and their ancestors have existed. So, why should anyone accept what you can't prove and chunk what science states is fact?

I'm not denying the existence of "soulless" sub-human apes who lived long before the biblical Adam and Eve. However, I believe it was the biblical Adam and Eve who had the first God-given "souls" that would allow them to have a spiritual existence beyond their bodily existence. Adam and Eve had committed the original sin against God. Animals without souls obviously can't commit acts of transgression (sin) against God.

I wish I live wherever you live. We're getting Icemegedon here.

If I was posting from my place up near Marquette in da U.P., I'd be telling you that we're now over 200 inches and counting.

Mind me asking which area are you posting from?

Does anybody else agree that the first few verses in the book of Genesis have been widely misinterpreted as a creation narrative; whereas, it should be correctly interpreted as a recreation narrative?

No, it reads like a creation myth to me. Many religions and cultures have them of course.

Sub-human apes with human artifacts? Let's look at this list of his again:

Oldest jewelry: 100,000 years ago.
Oldest astronomical circle: 7,000 years.
Bow and arrows: 8,000 years.
Containers and paint supplies: 100,000 years.
Maps: 14,000 years.
Alcohol consumptions: 9,000 years.

Burial: 130,000 years.

First symbols of writing: 7,000 years ago.

So you are saying sub-human apes wore jewelry, created and used bows and arrows, drew astronomical circles, created and used paint, drew maps, brewed and consumed alcohol, created calendars, made arrow heads, created art, had burial rituals, and created symbolic written languages? Do you honestly believe this is true? Humans do these things, as you clearly know. Can you point to any other 'sub-human' animal in existence with these innovations and tools?

I see problems on both sides of this argument. 1) The 6,000-year assumption. 2) The woeful lack of well-rounded reading on both sides. Yes, there is plenty of uniformitarian assumption about ancient Earth, along with plenty of evidence that support Flood-induced geology.
