It's really easy to simply say that which refutes your preferred world view must come from something else. You can't prove that your god (and no other) exists or that "souls" are actually a thing. But science can prove how long humans and their ancestors have existed. So, why should anyone accept what you can't prove and chunk what science states is fact?

So you are saying sub-human apes wore jewelry, created and used bows and arrows, drew astronomical circles, created and used paint, drew maps, brewed and consumed alcohol, created calendars, made arrow heads, created art, had burial rituals, and created symbolic written languages? I see problems on both sides of this argument. 1) The 6,000-year assumption. 2) The woeful lack of well-rounded reading on both sides. Yes, there is plenty of uniformitarian assumption about ancient Earth, along with plenty of evidence that support Flood-induced geology.
