Better gun laws. I don’t know what type of guns are available so I feel like I shouldn’t say which are allowed or not. Lol
Have as many as you want. Just ensure that the people owning them pass some kind of threshold for mental well-being and responsibility capacity
That’s all

Lets just try to see where posters here stand on guns.

The more posts I read..... The more I think this..

With some of the answers I am seeing, I am beginning to think some here that post about guns and hunting.... Are as ignorant about guns and hunting... as I am ignorant about transgenders, etc.
And no.. That's not an insult. It just means not knowing much about it

It is not about hunting. I used to hunt many years ago. So U have some sympathy. I hunted with both a bolt action with open sights and a semi-automatic with a scope. The bolt action was always fast enough for me. If you missed the first shot you did not get a second. I also usually went alone. That was because there were too many of us on my first hunting attempt. All of us green as heck. We probably only scared the crap out of a squirrel.

But as I said this is not about hunting. You should be trying to figure out a solution so that you can continue to hunt. People are getting tired of this idiocy. My sate is fairly gun friendly. It is a state that when it comes to a concealed weapon permit the state is on a "Shall issue" standard. That means that as long as one is not a convicted felon one can get a concealed carry permit. No explanation needed. But even in my state there is a bit to band certain rifles. I do not think that state laws are effective in this way. One only needs to go to the next state over to get around it. That is why laws need to be national.

If gun owners cannot control their own people it will be the government that does it. Do you want that? I am pretty sure that you do not. It is time to see if you guys can come up with a solution.

"If gun owners cannot control their own people"

Their own people? Gun owners aren't some Jim Jones group. Each gun owner is different. We control us and our guns.
Its not up to us to control, (to speak about a recent issue), a transgender going on a mass shooting spree.

Just like its not up to alcohol consumers or alcohol producers to control alcohol abusers.

You all think you will/can control when or where someone will go off the deep end and kill some people.
You can't and never will control that.

So you are admitting that if your guns end up having to be stored at a gun club. One possible solution, you will have no grounds for complaint.

It is better to concentrate on the muzzle velocity from a standard barrel of a round. High velocity rounds do far more damage than low velocity rounds. Doctors at ER's can spot a high velocity wound rather easily.

Are you kidding? WOW! You are so informative
How did you get so smart? Harvard? Yale? BS university?

Its either and assault weapon or it isn't. They don't identify as anything else.

Did you have a point?
Really. You will simply destroy them? Have you thought this through? You might not be able to shoot them safely. You will have to be leery of any neighbors of yours that know that you have guns. If your neighbors all have guns it could make it even worse. If o ne is caught they will often be given a lower sentence if they flip.

You might want to think about your strange fixation to your guns.

I have not seen him for a while, but one in your camp could not understand that simple fact. It is not those that are opting for gun control that tend to be ignorant in this matter. It is the gun users that do not understand this.

That would not matter. You are the one that is saying that he would be irresponsible by not following the new laws. You have gun safes. That is good. But not every gun owner does. You should remember that your projection always fails. I do not own a gun. In this day and age that is arguably more responsible than being part of the problem.

So once again, as a hypothetical. The US gets fed up with the abuses of gun nuts. The pass a law that allows people to own guns, but they have to be kept at a state approved gun club. You can check them out for hunting, skeet shooting tournaments general target practice. etc.. But you cannot keep them in your home any longer, gun safes or no gun safes. What would you do?

You never can listen. You are projecting again, i am not the one that is making up stuff. I asked you what you would do if the laws were changed and you brought up the red herring of your gun safes.

Try again.

Why would any law assume my guns are safer at a gun club(which would be a target for thieves) than in my guns safes?(which have 12 dead bolts, are anchored to concrete and protected by alarms)
