Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet pbuh)

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

“A Muslim does not slander, curse, speak obscenely or speak rudely.”

(Hadith in Al-Tirmidhi)

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Get to know Allah in prosperity, and He will know you in adversity. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Know that what has passed you by was not going to befall you, and that what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and ease with hardship." [/FONT]

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Those who have mercy will receive the mercy of the Most Merciful.

Have mercy on those who are on earth, the One in heavens will have mercy on you."

(Hadith in Al-Tirmidhi)

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Allah shows compassion only to those among His slaves who are compassionate."

(Hadith in Al-Bukhari & Muslim)

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"God is nearest to His servant in the last third of the night.

If possible be one of those who remember God during this period."

(Hadith in Al-Tirmidhi)

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Do not disdain a good deed, (no matter how small it may seem) even if it is meeting your brother with a cheerful face.''

(Hadith in Sahih Muslim)

 

[A Thousand Suns]

Prophet (pbuh) said

“The most perfect of the believers in faith is the one who is best in attitude and humble, who get along with others and others get along with them, and there is no good in the one who does not get along with others and they do not get along with him.”

Narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Awsat (2/268); classed as hasan by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (751).

 

[A Thousand Suns]

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

“The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted to Paradise and on it he was expelled therefrom.”

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) , Muslim, 1410.

 

[A Thousand Suns]

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

"I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he is in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he is joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who makes his character good."

Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Hadith 2235

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]and the polish for the heart is the remembrance of Allah." [/FONT]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

“Thinking well (of others) is part of good worship.”

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

“Charity does not decrease wealth.

No one forgives except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for Allah except that Allah raises his status.”

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Whoever does not show mercy to our little ones (children) and does not respect the rights of our elders, then he is not one of us."

“Those who are merciful will be given mercy by the Most Merciful.

Be merciful to those on the earth and the One above the heavens will have mercy on you.”​

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"If you all depend on Allah with due reliance, He would certainly give you provision as He gives it to birds who go forth hungry in the morning and return with full belly at dusk."

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Whoever wants his supplications to be accepted or his hardships to be removed should remove hardship from the poor.” ​

(Hadith in Musnad Ahmad)

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

“If a man calls on his sick Muslim brother, it is as if he walks reaping the fruits of Paradise until he sits,

and when he sits he is showered in mercy,

and if this was in the morning, seventy thousand angels pray for him until the evening,

and if this was in the evening, seventy thousand angels pray for him until the morning.”

(Hadith in Al-Tirmidhi)

 

[Cordoba]

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"A prayer by a Muslim for his brother in his absence is always answered.

An angel stands close to him who is assigned a special task.

Every time he says a good prayer for his brother, the angel says: Amen, and may Allah grant you the same".
