What's that passage in the gospels that says, "...and all liars"?

To tell the truth I was just passing through in my search to find a good intelligent religious forum..:)
No offence but this place is not my cup of tea; the small number of true Christians here are fine but there's too much background noise from nonchristians and phoney christians so I've got no choice but to obey this instruction and walk out-
"Keep away from profane babblers" (1 Tim 6:20/21)

So to my true Christian friends here I say-
Meet me out beyond the stars
A century from today
Far from the world we used to know
A universe away..:)
Don't let the door hit ya.....

Oops seems i've upset some nonchristians so they're trying to bully the mods into shutting me up..;)
"They prefer teachers who only tell them what they want to hear" (2 Tim 4:2-4)

Now you've got me angry. I tolerate a lot but I don't tolerate someone calling me a non Christian. I've been called delusional because of my faith and didn't get angry, and I can name more.
If you go, I will not miss you. That is the first time since I joined the RF that I felt that way. I don't even feel that way about the atheists who call my faith delusional, so that should tell you something.

Come on Mickey, show us the special dispensation from God that says that if you stand on a stack of Bibles, that excuses you from having to read them or follow anything that's written inside. :)

When reading the scriptures, did you forget to memorize the Golden Rule? It is easy to quote scriptures and bit harder to live by them. You say I only say what people want to hear (or you insinuated by using Paul)- But I am not a preacher, and I don't witness on this forum because it is forbidden.

He seems to have missed the parts about lying as well as the whole "don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" when it comes to charity proviso.

I like how he wanted to publicly make a coy yet smug display of rejecting a non-christian's friendship request. I don't think Jesus would approve of pretentious elitism and blatant hypocrisy, however.

I think he had to make a public dispaly of anybody sending him a friendship request because, come one, when is that ever likely to happen again.

Even though I find nonchristians to be boring people I'm still polite and hospitable to to them, but when it comes to actually wanting them as friends, no way ho-zay!
Jesus said "You're my friends if you follow me"-John 15:14, and likewise I too only want friends who follow him..:)

So you opt to miss out on a variety of people. Sounds lonely to me.

Don't sell yourself short, Waymarker. You've upset everybody - including the Christians on this board.

Except me, of course. I love you, because Agnosis (the God of agnosticism) tells us:
Be not upset with the intolerant bigots, as they seek approval and acceptance most of all. - 2 Collusions, verse 21

- and, my personal favorite -

Liars look fools, especially after they get caught and called on their BS. - 1st Prevaricators, verse 1

A bit phoney, acting like you didn't know about this place I mean, seeing that you have 2 accounts and one is from 3 years ago. Mick in England

Is lying OK according to your interpretation of scripture?

Is there anything genuine about you?

Wow!! You talk about being embarrassed. If I were you, Waymarker, I'd apologize to everyone, and then not show my face around here anymore. Then again, I have a sense of decorum.

We finally have a spicy troll that that is willing to play with us.
Can we keep him??? PLLEEAASSSEEE????????? :D

Katzpur

Not your average Mormon
You say you're a Mormon dahling, are you admitting Mormons aren't Christians?..;)
Admitting it or denying it doesn't change a thing. I believe that Jesus Christ is God's Only Begotten Son. I believe that He is my Savior and Redeemer. I try to obey His commandments. He is my Lord and Master. You may call me whatever you want and it will not change how God sees me.

Now is there some reason why you didn't just answer my question?

OK Nowhere Man, but remember; he's your responsibility. You have to promise to keep his bowl full of water and to keep him off the furniture.
