This has to be the worst topic I've ever read on this forum.

I have an idea who it was who tried to befriend the OP, because there was someone a couple months ago who befriended me when I joined, without me ever having posted anything.

I didn't know anything about anyone here, they recognized that and it made me feel welcome.

I am sickened that this unsolicited and generous gesture was turned into something so ugly and vile that the OP had to broadcast it to everyone.

..And broadcast his righteousness, his holiness, his perfection, his accolades from other people (cut and paste from a file he made on himself? Impressive!)...

The thread could have been made more general, instead it's a 16-page testimony of the OP's complete self-absorption and self-importance, and a public rejection of a welcoming gesture.

You know who you are, 2 people immediately befriended me upon my joining this forum: I thank you, and I am sorry this occurred.

P.S. A friend on an internet forum is not someone you will hang out with; in addition, no.... really really not likely that a Satanist will use your internet forum "friendship" as some kind of bragging right, or blackmail. That's ridiculous. Think of it as someone else opening an opportunity for you to show the way to Jesus.

i'm relatively new to this forum, so what shall I do if I get a 'Friendship request' in my message box from someone wanting to be my pal IF their screen name indicates they're nonchristian?
Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered, but the Bible tells us we're not supposed to hang with nonchristians, so I'm in a dilemma and wondering what I should do?

Sorry, I haven't read all of the posts in your thread, Waymarker, but I can't help but wonder if this is a joke. Are you honestly as judgmental as you're coming across or are you just yanking our chains? If you're being serious, you are an absolutely perfect example of why I started my thread on not wanting to be a Christian any more.

I think this topic is very relevant and very well said btw and I fully concur that this is truly among the worst topics I've come across. There is simply no excuse for religious bigotry as this disgusting display of such has been shown here, but that is life, and there are people around like that.

When I joined up, I as well had received 2 friendship requests almost immediately (including some "start up frubals" LOL). I'm glad to say that I happily accepted the requests from them. And am happy to say that theists are among those accepted into my list. Here and in real life as well. I may have debates funny and serious, but will always enjoy a cup of tea with them afterward. Frubals for you invisible chzbrgr. Again, very well put. -NM-

Well, that looks about right to me. Some of the comments give you too much credit on the intelligence meter, but most of 'em look pretty accurate.

Hey - I have to give you credit where it is due. Your comment on "nonchristian intellect" was well written. For anyone that hasn't read the rest of the horse dung you have posted, they might think you are actually representing "Christian intellect".

Unfortunately, most people are going to read the majority of the posts in the thread, so by the time they get to your last nugget, they'll already know what a windbag you really are.
