Holy book woes

Being inspired by the divine, doesn't mean they (scriptures) were written by the divine.

A man can be inspired by the woman whom he love, that he will write a song, a poem or a book about her.

The woman may be his source of inspiration, but it doesn't make her the lyricist, poet or author.

Likewise, the authors to the scriptures were written by men, not written by god - inspired or not.

I know that Christians would claim that the Holy Spirit made them write the New Testament gospels, or the archangel dictated to Muhammad, who transmitted to his disciples to write the Qur'an, but neither of these claims can be in any way verified.

Both claims are cannot be substantiated, so they are just as bogus, Joseph Smith's claim of the (nonexistent) gold plates of writing.

So your claim that the bible were divinely written are just merely your "faith" talking.
I don't know what all this nonsense has to do with what I wrote. Who cares, you clearly didn't understand the post

Muffled

Jesus in me
They need the OT for background information and so they can twist the Hebrew text to justify worship of Jesus pbuh. They use the OT and proclaim there are over 300 Prophecies attributed to the coming of Jesus pbuh and his life. One example is, a Young woman who gave birth, becomes a virgin who will give birth in the future.

I believe no justification is needed. Jesus is God without any help from us.

I believe you have twisted the data out of context. Talk about cherry picking!

Salam,
Before I can address your post, could you please tell me what sort of Christian you are?
It should say Man is imperfect in the fallen flesh.
There is no Christian really. Anyone who believes God and the Messiah regardless of their lineage are a Jew.
It is a problem a lot of people have because the references made to Jews in John were mainly about the higher Jews like the Sanhedrin.

Paul was right when he taught Gentiles grafted in....however they are acceptable to God because they believe what God said about his Messiah and acknowledge one God.

I don't know how Christians attempt to explain it.

I can tell you Islam teaches, the Israelites changed the texts to justify their superiority over others.

jesus was an israelite

can we not change one word in the above from "israelites" to "muslim" and is this not what some muslims do too? corrupted the truth for the idolization of muhammad, anthropolatry? the idolization of the quran, bibliolatry?

isn't it strange how people take something and refashion it to fit "their" supposed superior intellect, culture, idolatry?

fashioning never goes out of style; especially when enculturating.

No because you have to be born a Jew to be accepted into Judaism, Genetic citizenship: DNA testing and the Israeli Law of Return

whereas Islam is for everyone, irrespective of religion, faith and race.

You would have to provide some evidence for the rest of your post.

you said israelite. you didn't say a jew.

samaritans were israelites along with the other lost tribes. a jew is descended from judah

With DNA Tests, Mystery of the “Lost Tribe” of Indian Jews Finally Solved

An israelite can be a jew, a moslem, a christian, druze, or 4% are other.
