How are these Great Beings explained?

Discovering my truth was never a responsibility, just a discovery.
It was never a decision but a surprising destination.
No list of warnings and threats could ever make any difference to what I found.

And the Deity I discovered is already far more careless about me than even your God would be, but it's what I could see, clear as day. I didn't clutch to a salvation, but what I could see.

Maybe you could share some of your truth with us? I am happy to learn about it if you wish to share.

o you have figures?
How many Bahais have

The key here is that Baha'u'llah says no Baha'i is exempt from the influence of the world.

It is the same as all Faiths gone before. Faith is built on our ability to alter all thoughts of self. A new World Order requires a new way of thinking and not clinging to what needs to change.

Christ said it in a simple way, many are called fee are chosen. We are all called, to be chosen is a state of our own heart and a bounty of our God.

How much of the defective Old World Order are we prepared to give up!

Think about this before you challenge it.

It was explained and you would know that no law can be made that is a contradiction of an overriding law.

Religious freedom is the overiding law in our lands and indeed the law of the Koran.

That this law is violated, is the resolution of the United Nations.

Consider this, when one is considering justice for those opressed by unjustly made laws.

Example: Baha'is close business for Holy Day observance. This is allowed for under law, as a business can close x amount of days under the law.

But because it was Baha'i, the businesses are closed, some ransacked and many loose their only source of income.

There's nothing to tell........
There's nothing to sell........
Just look around..........
Every direction you look...........
It's not your journey directed by others.
It's your journey taken at random......
Random is good, because ...... everywhere you go............

You can look inwards if you wish, because you are a tiny part of God as well. And so is everybody (and everything) else.

I'm impressed with both LH and OB for finding a way through.

We all have differing perspectives on reality that have common ground, but also irreconcilable contradictions. Whether we are Deist, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, or Baha'i it matters and it doesn't matter. What is most important IMHO is that we can talk to each other in a respectful, courteous manner. While truth is extremely important, relationships are more important than who is right and wrong. We can always agree to disagree and leave it at that.

How many Bahais live there?

How many Bahais live there?

I do not know and I guess the number will not be known until the situation changes.

The situation will change, rest assured of that. At the moment persecution is feeding growth, strange?.....For many yes, but when we look at nature, it is manure and compost that make a great garden flower and it is the Gardener that knows this and povides it.

I know a person through a Forum that became a Baha'i while on the Forum from that area, what courage, though wisely has made it less obvious. I have met Baha'is that still travel there and they are quoting large numbers, to which I have little doubt will be accurate, but I say wait and see.

Just rule by men will not be far away.(Gods time, not ours).

Though I am compelled to say, as an impaitent child. "Are we there yet!" :D

I love this little quote from Rumi who was a Sufi mystic..

"Truth was a mirror in the hands of God
It fell, and broke into pieces
Everybody took a piece of it
And they looked at it and thought they had the truth."

Rumi

Perhaps we all have some truth each but not all of it.

So, you have a clear picture of all that is happening to Bahais there, but neither you nor your faith can even guess how many Bahais there are. Yes? You're not sure whether it's 300, 3000, or 30,000...?

And as far as Bahai is concerned, Bahais are supported or encouraged to contravene laws in their lands where Bahai thinks that they are in any way unfair or wrong. Yes?

We don't need mirrors.
God didn't smash it by accident.

I need not go through this again. Yes Sen posts lots of News articles on facebook, which I read. There is a link that also has much news shared below;

You can also see the United Nations Resolutions on this matter.

United Nations Documents Referencing the Baha'i Community

There is also much more very reliable information at this link.

No problem.
I won't bother you with such questions again, but search around on the internet for my information about the situations in various lands.

Can you elaborate on that as obedience to government is a basic Baha’i law?

It’s only a saying that I think means none of us know everything. I certainly don’t.

When Bahais speak of mirrors I think of the analogy to Manifestations mirroring God, or folks mirroring qualities.

It's OK, but it reminds me of a technique which I developed to observe thieves without ever causing premature confrontation, or ever being discovered using a micro-mirror system. It was an Indirect Observation technique. Neither a nice job, nor technique, but somebody had to do it.

Absolutely.
I was writing to another Bahai in answer to his posts.
You'd need to look back a short way to place my post into context.

I absolutely understand that Bahais are instructed by Bahai to obey the laws of the lands which they live in.

How do we explain these Great Beings: Buddha, Moses, Krishna, Christ, Zoroaster, Muhammad, the Bab & Bahaullah? They are somewhat unique and unparalleled in human history and were clearly not ordinary people.

There are famous people in history, famous artists, musicians and scientists but none can compare to the influence of the Educator, Teacher, Messiah or Prophet.

But Who were they? And why were they and still are so influential throughout history? Why did they inspire civilizations? Why have their scriptures become patterns of life followed daily by billions of people for thousands of years?

What gift did they possess to be able to be persecuted, oppressed, tortured, exiled and crucified by the most despotic and powerful leaders of their age with but a handful of followers and yet eventually triumph over adversity and establish Their Cause all over the world?

Statues, Churches, Temples, Pagodas, Mosques and Synagogues are built all over the world to pay tribute to these Great Souls.

Are they from another world? Did they pre exist? Without a special power how could they have accomplished what they did and who is their equal in influence?

And aren't we in dire need of another Great Spiritual Teacher to revive us spiritually?

If we, all non-bahai, said in our replies "No," we are not in desire of a great spiritual teacher...

Our guides, gods, and/or many many teachers are no more different than you and I as a part of god, as great leaders, or as more than one teacher with whom are not greater or lesser but equal in relation to human beings...

How would you reply without telling us what you (bahai) believe?

The question was directed to other people not to Bahai.

Since the questions were directed to non-bahai (as well), wouldnt it be sensible to learn about our answers and the beliefs or opinions supporting them?

Would there be a need to express bahai beliefs more so than learn from others since the questions were meant to engage non-bahai rather than reflect positive or agreeable answers among those in your own faith?

(Hence the debate section)

Are you asking to learn from us or share your beliefs in relations to our reply?

It does seem as if Bahai is determined to expand by constant presentation as the only true way. A kind of selling to use a modern word.

And so no matter what is presented by outsiders any Bahai replies are likely to be pointing to Bahai as the answer. I notice that it can be hard for some Bahai to give the simplest of yes/no replies, it's as if they are frightened to give straight reply unless they are absolutely certain that they know where the info is going. That could be construed as a fear of truth imo.

And the Final Answer is...

(Act 4:10) Be it known unto you all... the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, ...
(Act 4:11) This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
(Act 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
