The New Testament keeps it simple. The name of Jesus is Yeshua not Yahshua.
Doesn't the NT actually say his name was Ἰησοῦς which would be pronounced Iēsous or like eezous? If I remember correctly the Aramaic speaking Christians pronounce his name like eeashoa or something - w/o the Ayin pronounced.
So, again how did all of this name business get started in Christianity? Shouldn't this have been a no brainer with no arguement?
