Islam goes hand in hand with science and it rejects only crasy theories such as evolution.
What really happened was a spaceship from the planet Zog was hijacked by Zogian insurgents and stranded the crew of two on Earth,one male and one female.
After organising food and shelter they got down to procreation and had over 519 children who also had many children themselves and because of the differences between Zog and Earth they evolved to what we are now.:areyoucra

yeah, and the creation story of Genesis (or whatever you call the Islamic variation) is totally scientific and not crazy.
Like I said evolution has the logic and evidence to support itself. It's scientifically sound, and was realized through the same methodology that brought your technology and medicine. If you reject evolution, you reject science as a whole.

If only the quality of education wasn't so lacking in the less developed parts of the world.

In the beginning, there was nothing.. which exploded.
billions of years later, inside the primordial soup, some mischievous molecules decided they have to break free... yet billions of years later a bold ancestor of the homo habilis decided to use stones for tools, and yet millions of years later groups of hunter gatherers gradually moved into agriculture sedentary life, and created myths that represent their culture, these myths have passed inside the ancient near east, until they found their way into one of humanity's written world heritages, the bible, centuries later to be passed on to the Qur'an.
maybe its me but i find that much easier to adam and eve it

there is a talking serpent, a fruit that makes Adam and Eve enlightened of their condition, a woman created out of a man's rib, animals that initially eat only plants, oh yes.. and there are just TWO humans populating the earth.
Btw, a great deal of this came from pagan creation and origin myths of ancient Sumeria.

Im certainly not covering my heart and mind, i can see evolution in practice, unlock your mind to evolution rather than relying on an oudated book with no credible link to science.

My holy book, the Quran, is not outdated at all, for it is convenient for everytime and every place and it's full of scientific truths. You should rather read it to have a clear idea about it.

Really does it explain rock cycles, soil degredation and formation, ozone creation? I think it would be a stretch even for biblical scholars even if it did.
I'm not trying to insult your beliefs but thats all they are. Im afraid i can only see such scientific truths from the Quran if i want to, they do not exactly jump out of the page. Like with most religious texts, the meaning you interpret can be far different to the meaning someone else interprets. Since Mohammed is no lonnger living, it is difficult to accurately predict his intended message without guesswork.
Science of evolution deals with cold hard facts, theres nothing more to it.
