It's going to take some getting used to as all change does, but I think I like it.

I think if people want to be rude, they should have to work for it. The 'angry' frubal is too easy, and if being rude becomes easy, I fear trouble.
Fair enough, but I don't see "I strongly disagree with what you said" as being rude necessarily. Maybe we can delete the angry one and add a "thumbs down" frubal.

I don't know. I just see it being generally discouraging.

In all honesty, I think I'd be less motivated to post over time. That's part of the reason I use this site, and not other sites(like Quora or Reddit).

If I want a thumbs down, I'll tell my son to change his clothes, or my husband that I don't want spare car parts in the living room.

Yep, UI screwed up. I used to be second in frubals and now I am fourth. Just think if you were all of a sudden the person that placed third in how many posts one had?
Well, you dint deserve the frubals you had.
Nor the ones they generously allowed you to keep.
But I have given you a couple out of charity.

The old frubal system was abused at times, the funny and optimistic ones were sometimes used as insults. Maybe the direct approach is better?
