Huge gap between humans and animals

I don't think that they believed that God did lightning and other natural phenomena otherwise
people should have challenged their prophets to ask God to make it rains ...etc

Hurricane is a sample of a disaster, earthquakes and volcanoes are another sample of disasters,
Did you asked yourself why we don't have everyday disastrous earthquakes everywhere on this
planets, why we don't have disastrous hurricanes everyday and everywhere, is it just the work
of chance and coincident that we have some of these disastrous events.from one time to another.

Don't believe that God doesn't exist but no need to make excuses.

Have you moved entirely away from your comment:
I don't think that they believed that God did lightning and other natural phenomena otherwise

Does than mean that you now understand that people did believe gods caused all manner of natural things?

Sure I have. It's pretty common knowledge, even for most religious people.

Forest fires burn for a while and then run out of fuel or the winds change direction.

Volcanoes erupt for a while and then run out of fuel or the crust moves along. Do you not understand how the Hawaiian Islands were formed?

Hurricanes need certain natural conditions to form. These include warm water and favorable winds. These things are not always present. It's no different for why sometimes it rains and other times it snows.

Do you not have any understanding of the natural causes of wind, weather, volcanoes, tsunamis, waves? Do you think god is up there blowing on the oceans to make waves?

Yes it's the nature as we know it, but what if nature itself causing disastrous hurricanes to occur
everyday, what if nature itself causing disastrous earthquake to occur everyday, what if there were no
forces that keep the planets in their orbits ...etc.

That's nature, but nature could be the moon, mars, the sun ...etc, my point is that we
believe things happened to be due to luck, so the earth happened to be good for life,
hurricanes happened to be limited, earthquakes happened to be limited...etc,
and here we're living in this moving planet and nothing changed
day after day, things have been settled and all is due to luck.

The Lost One
And what the people in Africa did 10000 years ago?
It depends.

Some people continued their way of life as hunters and gathers and as nomads, some settled in places where they learned to farm.

Woods, bones and stones continued be used as tools, before they learned to use metal as tools, between 5800 and 5200 years ago, starting with copper, hence the Chalcolithic period in Egypt. Then around 5200 ago, they learn to make stronger metal, mixing copper with tin, to make alloy called bronze, which began the industry and technological period, known as the Bronze Age.

But the industry of making of copper and bronze tools didn’t distribute across Africa, Asia and Europe equally at the same time. The use of metals came centuries or millennia later than in some regions.

Nevertheless, people continued to do the same things as they used to - survive in the regions they were living, eat, drink and find shelters.

you are assuming the purpose of Man

that he live in harmony and die like any animal

nay

go forth, be fruitful, multiply.....dominate.....all things

as a species it would be known to the Creator the consequence

Yes the go forth, be fruitful, multiply, dominate - is unfortunately the current legacy of human yet there other ways to live. Yes in harmony with the natural world, accepting its gifts and returning back to the natural world. This is the only way humans should live. Instead we take, we create thing that cannot be recycled in the natural world and we leave lifeless barren worlds in our wake. Why not take the advice from the current philosophy of some of the First Americans/Native Americans and see live as our relations. Understand reciprocity and live a life in balance with the natural world instead of dominating it. This seems to me to be a higher level of consciousness and awareness. And yes we all will die like all life does, plant or animal thus new life can exist.

Then the crows are similar to humans.

Yes crows are similar to humans. It is too bad you cannot see this for the new research is showing just how amazing they are and how much we have underestimated them. You are just to separated from the natural world to appreciate this and blinded by human creations which fall short of natural creations.

We do not think things are due to luck in the natural world. If you understood any scientific principals about natural processes you would know that it is not due to luck. Variations in the natural world create different with at least one favorable for life to develop. Luck is nothing but looking backwards and misunderstanding the process that developed the way our planet and its life came about. Luck is a form of superstition not an explanation of the natural world. Do you carry a lucky rabbits foot? Which by the way was not so lucky for the rabbit.

No, it is not luck.
Our star is in a place in the galaxy where planets could form around it. There are many stars in the galaxy that are too close to the center and too close to each other for planets to form - there is no life.

For a billion years there were constant volcano eruptions, the atmosphere was toxic, the oceans wild - there was no life.

Over the next three billion years things the earth calmed down because of loss of energy, some life emerged. Still no humans.
Finally in the last .00002% of earth's existence humans appeared.

That's not luck, that's nature.

Your thoughts is like saying how great are the computers and not the maker.

If humans weren't made to think and to work hard to achieve what they have achieved,
they'll never make life easier, that's the reason that humans are different than all other
animals on earth, regardless of time, animals weren't made to achieve anything.

Atheists oppose even clear facts that humans are far different than all animals
on earth just only to reject that God exists.
Humans and animals being different in the arena of intelligence simply doesn't prove that God exists. I don't have to deny that animals are "far different" than humans to not believe in God. To my mind there isn't a logical connection. I just don't see it.

All I see is your arrogance in assuming you are so much better than animals. Arrogance in refusing to give credit to your forbears, and instead putting it all on God so that you don't have to admit that some humans may have contributed more than you have or will (not that this truly matters, mind you). In this way, I believe you get to feel yourself better than animals and other humans who don't have "God" as you believe you do. You don't have to bow before the greater knowledge of any man... only acknowledge "God" who you already assume is your better, but never truly have to confront, answer to or interact with. I think this makes it easier for you to maintain your conceit.

Yes you're right, to me a cow is better than you, it gives us milk and hence we can make
cheese, yogurt and many other products such as Nada and Nadec milk products.

Did humans read and write before 20000 years ago?
Homo sapiens or the wise man existed 200,000 years ago, it means humans have
spent more than 195,000 years just to start learning how to write and read.
Why do you think that humans just started to think about writing before only 5000 years ago,
why not before 20000 years, why not before 30,000 years or 50,000 years.

I appreciate the maker and not the product.

Then you appreciate evolution and the natural world than made mankind since you appreciate the maker. It does not matter when started writing. Reading or writing does not make us better than any other living form. You fail to realize we are all connected with other life forms which are all uniquely created but the evolutionary process within our natural world. We would not exist without the rest the other life we share this planet with. We depend on them to live thus interconnected. We are only recently beginning to understand just how amazing the rest of life is. Trees communicating to other trees through the fungal network in the soil. They help keep each other alive sending nutrients to other trees via the fungal network. The also communicate to other warning other trees of danger. If find this ability to support other trees of the same species as well has helping trees sometimes of a different species as equally amazing as what man can do.
We have so underestimated the rest of the living world. Your infatuation with how important you think you are has blinded you to the world around you. You cant see other life as just as unique and important because you do not want to see. The examples we are learning now is changing the way we see our non-human brothers and sisters in this world. Try opening your mind and learning, you might find finally see you are a part of an amazing world and lose your arrogance.

I understand what you are saying but you do not know enough about the life around you to see that all animals are very different with different abilities. You just want to put yourself above other living things and forget just how dependent you are on them thus forgetting how interconnect we are. How much of the things humans do actually helps our planet and how much destroys it. Then reconsider just how special we are. There are so many things that animals and plants can do that humans cannot. Try a little bit if humility and instead of focusing on just how important you think you are and try seeing the life on our world with the respect it deserves.

They did more much more than just hunting and eating obviously. They also were for more intimately connected with the natural world than most of us are today.

We do not work in harmony when we thing we are superior. Just look and human history just with respect to other people alone. Anyone can make a top 10 things that makes any animal special. You are missing the big picture. All life is unique and special not just humans. It is amazing you cannot see this. You must be so disconnected with the natural world to lose so much respect for the life we share this planet with.
